Kaltag nodded and then looked at Star. "All right, Star, leave Balto alone now," he said. Star did so. Kaltag looked back at Balto. "Forgive him. He's not completely right in the head," he said.

Balto again smiled, "No problem."

Hammy yawned one last time. "All right, I think we're all settled here," he said.

Balto went back to his spot next to Jenna. Melony looked at Jempa, "Where do you want to settle down for the night?" she asked, in a voice that was loud enough for him to hear but not loud enough to interrupt anyone.

Jempa smiled. "Anywhere comfortable. A corner will do," he said.

Melony smiled and went to one of the corners with Jempa. Blushing slightly, she went ahead and lay down close to him, enjoying the warmth of his fur.

Everyone was settled in and there were no thoughts of Steele for the moment. "Good night, everyone," Hammy said.

Melony smiled and closed her eyes, her head resting in Jempa's soft fur. "Good night."
