Kirby said, "I'm sure he's fine."

Aleu sighed, "Yeah, he'll probably show up out of nowhere soon." Meanwhile Kodi was walking around the village trying to find something to occupy him.

Kirby said, "Right." Suddenly the dog did appear but not to Kirby or Aleu but to Kodi. "Nice night for a walk hmm?"

Kodi was a little confused at first but then he smiled, "Sure." he couldn't remember seeing that dog in the village before, but it was never the wrong time to meet newcomers.

The dog then said, "If you'll excuse my bluntness sir right now is not a good time to be walking around. You see wolf howls have been heard not too far from here..."

Kodi nodded, "I was just heading back to my owner's."

The dog said, "Ah good. Well I will be going now."

Kodi called after him, "Hey, wait a sec." he offered him a smile, "Thanks for your concern. I don't remember seeing you around before, I'm Kodi. What's your name?"

The dog smiled and said, "Oh yes I recall hearing your name before now. Thank you for the welcome but my name is of no importance. Just no that you will be seeing me around during this great crisis of yours." Suddenly dust came into Kodi's face and the dog was gone.
