The same dog said, "We believed that untill we heard what the other sled dogs said... You know, the ones you left for dead in the middle of nowhere!" Kodi sighed and said, "Can we get out of here? This place is depressing." Her companion said, "Of course not! But he was almost never as mean to me as he was to others and uh... I have always been kind of a suck-up after my parents died..." he then looekd at her, "Whatever it is you're going to do, just do it fast."

Annabeth said, "Do? I mean I don't know what to do. I am just as lost as you are. I only said this so my father wouldn't kill me over the dog thing." She laughed though as he said suck-up, "Yeah you are a suck-up," she teased. Steele said, "And they have been lead away by his lies as well! I will kill that wolf-dog with his own kind!" Kirby nodded and started leaving towards the mailroom, "So uh do you have your eyes on anyone you want to uh mate with yet?"

Annabeth's companion suddenly seemed serious, "Look, It's your job to figure a way out of this. Because I will do what I have to do to stay alive." The dogs growled, "Why don't you do us all a favor and got to a town that might be stupid enough to believe ya'?" Kodi looked at Kirby with a rather annoyed look, "You don't see me asking you those question are you?" he couldn't deny the fact that he was curious about it though.

Kirby sighed, "Fine. It seems someone woke up on the wrong side of the pillow this morning." Steele said, "I will stay in this town and kill Balto. Any who refuse to join me will be killed by wolves! But don't worry I already decided that all of you fools will be eaten!" He walked away. Annabeth said, "Yeah." The wolves kept staring at them. "Uh can we talk about this somewhere else?"

Kodi then fell silent for a moment, "Why? Do you have your eyes on anyone?" Annabeth's companion looked at her for a moment, "Fine." he got up and followed her.

Annabeth said, "Uh can I ask you something? Do you feel anything for me?" Kirby laughed, 'Don't worry Kodi it is not anyone you are in love with."

Annabeth's companion shook his head, "I don't know. I always saw you as a friend..." he then sighed, "Well it doesn't matter now." Kodi's smirked, "I see that there is someone. And who is that?"

Kodi looked at him, "Oh does she?" Kirby was sometimes hard to believe to. Annabeth's companion shrugged, "If I ever considered... mating with you"? he shook his head, "I don't know..."
