The buck said, "Pardon me sir?" Karus' daughter said, "Not into does huh?"

Bambi shook his head, "Never mind." Membo looked at her with a confused look, "What?"

The buck said, "Pardon me sir but you said my family knew him. If there is something I need to know I would appreciate it if you could tell me...sir." Karus' daughter said, "Well seeing that there is just you and I here..."

Bambi looked at his grandaughter, "You were probably told more than once how Marena, the one you are named after, died haven't you? Well at first we thought that out of all the deer who fell into Karus' trap she was the only one." he looked at the buck, "Your parents were part of that group, and I remember seeing them both leave after everything was over. But your father died a few hours later because of the injuries he carried." Membo still wasn't catching onto what Karus' daughter was trying to say.

The buck said, "You mean I allied myself with their murderer's son?" Marena said, "Don't worry about it. Forget it." Marena then said, "Grandfather what did that voice mean by you were told you would not live if you helped us?" Karus' daughter sighed, "Well you sure are clueless."

Bambi shook his head, "No, just your father's..." he looked at his grandaughter, "It's nothing." Membo continued to look at her, "That's me."

The buck just put his head down. "Sir what do you mean? Karus killed my father? Why?" Marena just nodded. Karus' daughter shook her head, "Nevermind. Hmm it seems your friends aren't back yet..."

Bambi sighed, "Well, it's not like he was aiming to kill anyone in particular... He was trying to kill everyone." Membo shrugged, "Well, he said he wanted to do something special for her. They probably wont be back in a while."

The buck then said, "Sir well what about my mother? You said he only killed him? Why wasn't my mother part of my life and only my grandparents...sir?" Karus' daughter said, "Something special hmm? Maybe we can do that hmm?"
