Balto: A New Journey

Hammy's eyes looked out the window. "Yes," he said. Just then, he heard commotion outside. Going outside, he found Nikki, Kaltag and Star standing there. "Can we join you? You are the greatest, handsomest, fastest..." Kaltag began, but was interrupted by Star summing up their praise of Hammy. As usual, Kaltag whacked him on the head. Hammy laughed. "Hey Grandpa, those three former allies of Steele wish to join us," he said.

Balto smiled and went over to greet the three. "I haven't seen you for such a long time. How have you been?"

Kaltag glared at Star to make sure he wouldn't say anything stupid before looking back at Balto. "We've kind of left the sledding game," he said. "He means that we've retired!" Star said before being whacked on the head again.

Balto chuckled.

Kaltag looked back at Balto. "We saw Steele and his new gang attack Hammy. We only waited because we didn't want to face Steele again," he said.

Balto looked confused, "Why is that? He can't tell you what to do anymore."

Kaltag's eyes narrowed. "He probably views us as traitors now. We don't want to be attacked. That's why we're here now, to help make sure that Steele doesn't trouble your family or any dog again," he stated.

Balto nodded, "I see." the only traitor however was Steele who valued his glory over lives of humans.

Hammy smiled. "Well, Grandpa, I think we're off to a good start," he said.

Balto nodded. "Hopefully this will end quickly." he was literally sick of Steele.
