Membo heard Nello's voice, "Did you hear that?" he looked at Karus' daughter.

Karus' daughter said, "It sounded like Nello." The voice said, "Whoever is there will have their spines removed!"

Membo said, "We have to go." Nello was some distance away, if they went right away they should lose him eventually. He began quickly walking off and hoped that the doe would take his advice and not follow him.

The doe however did follow him. "Where should we go?" The voice laughed, "Ah Membo. Your cousin has sworn his allegiance to me fool!" The laughter continued. Karus said, "My offer still stands. Kill my daughter and your cousin lives for another day."

Nello frowned, "I thought that killing would happen if I said no." Membo said to the doe, "Run." he thought to himself, 'Nello would never do that.' he looked at her, "Here's the plan; well, actually I don't have one. Again, for the moment, run."

Karus' daughter laughed, "Well at least I know you two are related." Karus laughed, "I said you wouln't have to kill as many if you said yes. But if you say no I kill everyone."

Membo just ran, hoping to stumble across anybody they knew.

Suddenly they crashed into the buck and Marena. The buck said, "Hey watch it you...oh it's you Membo. What's wrong?"

Membo stood back up, "It's Nello..." he was out of breath, "We have a problem."

The buck nodded, "Yeah he has been acting kind of strangely." He noticed the doe, "Hello there."
