Kayan kept close to Kara but let her lead the way, still not very familliar with the lands himself. He could find the small den if he wanted to, but Kara would lead them there faster.

[Arani]

Kara and Kayan soon arrived at the den. She looked around, then sat down with a sigh, tried from walking so much. "Well, this has been an interesting day for sure." She said, looking around once more. "There's something that really doesn't feel right about this whole thing, though..."

Once they were inside the den Kayan laid down to let his feet rest from all the walking. He looked at Kara, "Well, at least the cubs are alright." he was silent for a moment before a smile appeared on his muzzle, "Cubs are really cute. Those two are the most adorable living things I've ever seen." he let out a sigh and continued looking at Kara with a smile.

[Arani]

Kara smiled back at him. "They are pretty cute." She said, laying down next to him on her side. "I love babysitting them. I mean sure it takes up my time, but at the same time, it really doesn't. It's something fun that I love to do, you know?" Her smile grew.

Kayan again smiled, "Um, sort of..." he said, now looking into Kara's beautiful eyes. He was still thankful for being lucky and running into her in the first place.

[Arani]

Kara looked at him in silence for a few moments before looking away. "I really hope things haven't been TO weird for you. You've only been here a few days. Even I would be thinking about how weird this place is." She looked back at him with an almost apalogetic smile.

Kayan continued to smile, "You mean because of all the trouble we're in right now?" he chuckled, "Kara, my entire life was me getting into trouble because of my bad luck. You might not agree with me but I think I'm lucky to have made it out of those. You're the first one I met who didn't try to kill me." he fell silent for a moment, "I don't think I had bad luck coming here like all the recent events in my life though. I'm really happy I met you." he said, smiling at her yet again.

[Arani]

Kara smiled back at him. "I'm glad you stumbled upon this place." She said. She wanted to say more but the words weren't there, so she just looked him in the eye and hoped he'd understand.

Kayan smiled as he continued looking into Kara's eyes. "Meeting you was the best thing that ever happened to me." he said, nuzzling her gently and saying nothing else.

[Arani]

Kara smiled and nuzzled him back. "Likewise." she said quietly. "You suddenly appearing out of the blue has really changed my life for the better. And Amani may not know it yet, but it'll change her's, too."
