Night woke up shortly after and tried to stretch - but his paws were trapped inside the mud. He grumbled. "I'm stuck." he told Sharai.

[RayCat]

Sharai heard Night and woke up. She tried to stretch too, but her paws were stuck. She pulled and pulled- but it was no use. She was glued to the mud like a bee to a flower, and she knew that she couldn't get out of it alone.
"H-help?"

[SnowyCheetah]

Night grumbled and squirmed to no avail. Suddenly a vehicle approached.

[RayCat]

Sharai rolled her eyes around so she could see the vehicle.Horrified, she took in a deep breath to scream...

[SnowyCheetah]

Night quickly wrapped his tail around Sharai's muzzle, holding it shut. "Don't yell! Maybe they won't see us!"

Sharai shook Night's tail off her muzzle. She kept her head as low as she could, trying not to make a sound.

Two men got out and walked around, but did not see Sharai and Night. They got back in their vehicle and left. Night let out a sigh.

Sharai was shaking, from head to tail. She'd never seen anything like it. She gulped, and said, "W-what was... that thing?!"

[SnowyCheetah]

"I don't know. But we'd better get out of here before another one comes." Night managed to get one back paw free. "Well gee, that helps a lot..." he said sarcastically.

"Well, if you can do that, surely I can," Sharai turned this way and that, pushed and shoved, but it seemed like she'd never break free. She tried retracting her claws and pulling- lo and behold, her left paw broke free.
