Balto smiled at the remark. "What sort of future? Do you think that Aleu or any of them will be great sled dogs?" he asked, somewhat hoping that it would happen.

Kalu chuckled hearing Balto ask him that question "I'm not sure Balto but I just had a feeling about all of them some more than others like with Aleu."

Balto was surprised like this. "What do you mean?" he asked.

Kalu groaned walking around Balto a few times "Look Balto I don't know all I know is that she is strong and won't let anything slow her down." he smiled

Balto smiled proudly. "She's just like her mother," he said proudly.

Kalu chuckled at Balto's comment sitting down scratching himself "Yes they are and one of them is just like you" Kalu looked at Balto then to Aleu the similarities were all there.

On the outskirts of town Steele had finally come out of hiding and was making his way to Balto and Jenna's home, he wanted to make things right and he knew it would be hard but he had to try.

Ice smiled at the pups. "You know, Jenna, if Mother and Father were still alive to see them, they would surely be proud. The same goes for Balto's mother," she said.

Jenna smiled at her sister a tear coming to her eye "Yeah I'm sure they would be proud . . . of all of us." she looked around the room letting a yawn escape.

Steele walked slowly towards the house stopping just outside the door not wanting to go inside just yet he could smell the wolf inside knowing that he would be trouble if it got out of hand but he wasn't here to fight.

Balto smiled. "Jenna, you're so cute when you yawn," he said, unaware of Steele's presence outside.

Kalu looked at Jenna and smiled "Come on guys I think we should let het get some rest she's probably exhausted." Kalu looked at everyone as he motioned for the door.

Steele sat there he couldn't bring himself to walk in the door he kept having things swim into his head but he had someone he wanted to see more than anything and that was Ice.
