Tali smiled, "Is that so? Well, you'll be delighted to know I feel the same. I know no one in this world of yours outside of you, Xandra and those we've acquainted with. So it's good to be traveling with a like minded person."

The pheasant and rabbits were skewered over the fire shortly after Tali prepared them. Xandra had turned back into a human and sat opposite of Tali as she poked at the embers.

''I agree. I can see now why the loremaster chose you to be my traveling companion.'' said Eon.

''But on the other hand, it makes little to no sense why the loremaster brought that damned hellhound to us, as she is nothing but a pest.'' Eon thought to himself, not wanting to cause unnecessary drama.

Eon sat close next to Tali, awaiting his food to get ready while playing with his sword out of boredom.

Xandra watched Eon and Tali from across the fire with a slight hint of jealousy. Their kinship reminded her of her clan, her friends and her family that she'd left behind when spirited away by Xaron. It reminded her of home, where she wished to be. Hugging her knees to her chest, she rested her head atop of them and breathed out a long sigh full of regret and sadness.

"Hey, Xandra?"

She poked an eye open to see Tali gesturing towards the fire, "What werewolf?"

"Foods done. What do you prefer, pheasant or rabbit?"

Xandra curled her lip in slight disgust and turned away, "I don't care. Take your rations and leave the scraps for me later, I'm going for a walk."

Tali was off put by her negative attitude as Xandra turned away and walked off into the dark plains.

"Well then, what about you?" Asked Tali, looking at Eon, "Pheasant or rabbit?"

''Good riddance.'' said Eon as Xandra left.

''I don't mind, but I'll go for the pheasant I suppose.'' replied Eon as he took it out of the fire. ''You may devour the poor cute little bunny.''

Tali handed Eon his portion of the pheasant and grabbed her rations of the rabbit, shoving it jokingly in Eon's face. "I've never seen a cuter rabbit. Look at how cute it is!" She spoke in a high pitched voice, pretending to gush over the butchered and flayed rabbit.

"I'm just going to eat you up, cute little rabbit!" At this Tali took a bite and began to eat. In the distance, Tali could've sworn she heard a wolf howl, long and sorrowful.

Eon ate his food, only to be shortly interrupted by a wolf's howl. Thinking it was a hostile werewolf of some sort, Eon immediately got up and dew his sword.

''What the hell... Did you hear that?'' he asked, looking around as if they might get ambushed.

Tali didn't react defensively as Eon had, ''What the hell... Did you hear that?''

"I did hear it but I don't think we have any reason to stress. She's clearly upset about something and probably went off to deal with it herself. To be honest, I'm just glad because it's gives us a short break from her [censored] mouth."

''Well, the b#tch can forget about turning to me for symphaty as she gave me none.'' said Eon coldly. ''When I met her I was nice and willing to help her out, but she rejected my kindness and even went as far as to make fun of the comrades that I lost that day. If anything, I doubt even a single one of those mutts of her own world misses her.''

Tali took a bite of rabbit and swallowed, "I can't blame your opinion on it. Xandra hasn't necessarily treated you, or the recently deceased; may the Great Wolf guard their eternal souls, with any type of respect. I can understand she's upset but that gives her no right to act the way she's been. Even so, I try my best at ignoring her and going on about my way."

"How is the pheasant by the way?"

''By the way; maybe it sounds somewhat rediculous, but you don't think she'd have anything to do with my men's death, do you? Since kept mocking them and seems to hate humans so much, it wouldn't surprise me at all...'' Eon said.

''And the pheasant tastes fine I suppose'' he said as he ate it.
