"Maybe, but not too overprotective. I want my kids to be free, have fun and be themselves." I said, closing my eyes.

"I'm sure you would," I said, kissing the top of her head. "But there always needs to be a balance between the two, otherwise we could have a lot of rebellion on our hands."

I smiled, then said, "Yeah, I guess you're right."

[Queen Elsa]

I yawned and rested my head on top of hers. "I'm tired. Today has been a pretty long day," I said. "You ready to go to sleep?"

I nodded, then yawned a little, then asked him, "Where are we going to sleep? It's not like there's a mattress of some kind in here to sleep on."

[Queen Elsa]

I looked around, trying to figure something out. I didn't mind sleeping on the rock-hard floor, but this was Melody's first night in the ocean. "Hold on," I said. I swam out of the cave and gathered up some material that was soft enough and big enough to hide the hard floor feeling. I swam back to the cave and laid it out. "Try this out," I said, sitting on the new bed myself.

I swam over to Derek's new made bed and sat beside him on it. It was soft, that was for sure, I can hardly feel the cave floor on it. "It's perfect," I said, laying down on my side, yawning again.

[Queen Elsa]

"Good," I said, lying down as well. I wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her close. "Good night, Melody," I whispered.

I smiled, then whispered back, "Good night," then I closed my eyes and snuggled closer to him, feeling warm and safe with him.

I slowed down my breathing to match hers as I slowly went to sleep.

The next morning, I woke up before Melody, but I was unable to move because she was on one of my arms. Not wanting to wake her, I decided to lie there and just think.
