Astrid frowned and scowled as Cicero pranced around her like the fool he was. She hated this man so much and had to stay her hand, but all she wanted to do was kill him. But alas, he was the Night Mothers keeper and she couldn't harm him out of respect to her. At his next words however, she rounded on Silver and her eyes were full of shock. After a few seconds however, this turned to laughter.

"Silver?! Listener?! Please... She couldn't possibly be the Listener" Astrid laughed.

Silver's eyes hardened at Astrids criticism.

"It's true.. Me and Rahks can hear your precious leader" She said darkly.

Astrids laughter subsided then and she glared at her sister for a moment before turning to Rahks.

"Is this true?" She asked with a hint of fear in her voice.

Rahks stared Astrid down and smiled I heard only her voice, for what reason I know not why. But your sister is the chosen Listener. Astrid caught Silver's eye once again and it was as though Silver finally understood the true meaning of what had just happened. She could feel herself shaking. Never did she want to lead this group. She didn't even want Astrid to lead it... But maybe this was the opportunity she had longed for to get Astrid out the Dark Brotherhood.

"Astrid.. I" She began.

"Be quiet. Silver is not the Listener. There is no proof the Night Mother spoke to her! Your lying... All of you! Im the leader of this Sanctuary! My word is law, DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT?! MY WORD IS LAW!!!" She yelled her last words and sent a pot of food flying across the room as she struck it with her arm. For once in her life.. Silver was afraid of her little sister and what she might do.

"Astrid listen to me... I swear to you, on our parents lives... She spoke to me. The Night mother told me that-"

"That counts for nothing Silver... Our parents died in the war years ago. No... You will all forget this. Neither of you have spoken to her and you will not speak of it again, understood?!" She snarled, glaring round at Rahks now and finally Cicero.

"I am in charge here... And if any of you defy my orders, i'll have you killed. Got that?"

Rahks stood and listened, at least he tried to. The rage and lust for power in Astrid's voice made him growl. Before she could even finish Rahks darted forward picking her up by her collar and held her against the wall I would like to see you try Nord! Let me tell you something, I might not be part of this Brotherhood but I have studied it very carefully, and I can tell you compared to the Night Mother, you are NOTHING, a voice for Sithis in this world. I heard the ladies voice as clear as day she is back, and she gave us a job to do

Rahks let her go, as she fell to the floor on her knees The Sun legion marches and the one who sent you that note, knows information. You are going to tell me right now where you got that note and who from, even better if you tell me where to meet them. Silver watched as Rahks picked her sister up and threatened her. She didn't like the tone in his voice and her hand automatically went to the helm of her blade. For a moment, Silver stood on the spot and watched as her sister was yelled at and threatened. Astrid herself was trying her hardest not to show any fear, though this Khajit did intimidate her somewhat.

As she fell to her knees, she smirked as Rahk's went on.. Her gaze on the floor. She had information yes... But she wouldn't surrender it. She looked up at that moment to see someone stood infront of her. Silver roughly grabbed Rahks arm and threw it away, ignoring the red glow crawling up his arm.

This time, she raised her blade and pointed it at his chest.

"That's enough. Astrid is the leader of this sanctuary.. You will respect her thief" She said, some of the old coldness in her voice returning.

"My sister is most loyal.." Astrid said, getting to her feet and folding her arms behind them.

"Go ahead... Tear me down... Tear SilverEye down" Astrid purred.

Rahks pause as Silver's blade came across his chest. He glanced over at her then back at Astrid. The red glow faded but his voice was still strong Be that so, if you give a damn about this Brotherhood, about your own life and that of your husbands, you will give that information to us. Otherwise the Sun Legion will come, they will break down that door and they will paint the walls of this place with the blood of all who dwell in it

"You should do what he says Astrid. It's for the good of the Brotherhood" Silver said, sliding the sword back into the sheath at her hip, but her eyes remained vigilant.

Astrid again rounded on Silver.

"NO. He's got nothing to do with this Guild. He's an outsider!" Astrid yelled, but this time, Silver threw her younger sister up against the wall and looked deep into her eyes.

"Astrid.. I love you more than anyone else in this world, but you are being a fool. Yes, you are the leader of the Brotherhood, nobody has denied that. But I need you to help us out here. Give us a name and location so we can end the Sun Legion. I won't watch my sister... Nor my family burn. I swore to protect you at any cost. Please help me do that" Silver pleaded, keeping a hold of her, but not roughly.

"And what makes you think I need your protection and help?! What are you planning? You gonna try and kill me? Huh?!" Astrid snarled.

A loud shout echoed around the room now... The voice belonged to SilverEye and she pressed Astrids body into the wall firmly.

"You... were the one who asked me to come to the Brotherhood in the first place! You told me how it was my fault you ended up here... how it was my fault you'd endured so much pain... My fault you'd walked this road! That's why I am here! I am here to protect you... Like I should have done all those years ago. I gave up EVERYTHING for you... My hopes... My dreams... My family.. My life! I'd give anything to turn the clocks back but I can't.... all I can do is try.. TRY and save you from this darkness that surrounds you!!!" She threw Astrid aside now.

This time, Astrid was silent and looked up at Silver who was teary and gasping for breath.

"I need to end the Sun Legion... We all do.. If you're a real leader Astrid... Give us that damned name so we can end this. For the Brotherhood... For your family and for The Night Mother"

Silence fell for a few minutes and Silver shook her head and turned towards Rahks.

"His name is Moitirre and he's hiding... In Volunrund. Now both of you.. Get out of my sight" She said, pushing past them and back to the Sanctuarys main hall.

Rahks needed no further persuasion. He quickly left the room and began to head out of the sanctuary, with Silver following him behind. Once outside he turned to her and looked her dead in the eyes I am sorry Silver, I only did what I had to, to try and get that information. I would never have harmed her, and the sooner we end this, the sooner we can get back to the lives we all really want

Silver followed Rahks as though in some sort of trance. Astrid and herself had both completely lost it back there. And Silver had turned on Astrid. All those years of holding back those grudges and they'd finally got to her and she'd let fly. Astrid probably hated her right now. Rahks voice bought her back from her trance and she looked at him through confused eyes.

"I guess you're right. But.... She will never forgive me for that... As for the Night Mother... Astrid will now see me as competition for the new leader of the Brotherhood. I will NEVER want that title" Silver snapped, throwing a rock into the small pond outside the sanctuary.

"Where is Volunrund?" She asked with venom in her tone.
