Annabeth started breathing faster and then her head slumped on his back.

Kodi stopped in the alley and put her down, "Annabeth?" he nudged her and began getting nervous.

Annabeth said nothing. Hopefully she was just passed out.

Kodi immediately put her on his back again. He quickly carried her towards the pet clinic. After a few minutes of scratching the door the vet once again woke up and opened it. "Oh my..." he said, staring down at them both.

Annabeth woke up and started to breathe, "Kodi I hope none of this will make me go into early labor."

Kodi again tried to sound reassuring, "I'm sure it wont, you've been pregnant for less than a week." The vet picked Annabeth up from Kodi's back and carried her inside. Kodi followed and closed the door himself, "I hope so."

Annabeth said, "I was talking about later on." She was picked up and set down.

The vet closed the workroom door once Kodi entered. "Oh, I should get started right away." he began talking, "She is injured, I have to consider many possibilities!" he was a person who talked to himself all the time. "We'll hope it's nothing serious... She might take alot of time to recover..." he looked at her belly and then at Kodi, however he said nothing and just sat down on his chair.
