Kristoff stopped, then he turned to Elsa and laid his hands on her shoulders and said, "Elsa, that was the past. We don't need to worry about it now, okay? All we need to think about is the future."

Elsa couldn't get herself to look into his eyes. "I try, and I'm not worried about my abilities. I know I can control them. But the kids.... they're so young, and they could do what I did to Anna all those years ago." Tears streamed down her face as she thought about it. "I don't want them to ever have to go through what I went through."

Kristoff looked at Elsa for a little bit, then he pulled her close and hugged her, rubbing her shoulder soothingly. "It'll be okay, Elsa. Adrian and Elisa will control their powers."

Elsa hugged him back. "I tell that myself, too. But I feel like all of that training might not be enough. I mean, it didn't exactly work for me. I just feel so useless at times."

"You're not useless, Elsa. You're smart, brave, funny, kind and everything a queen should be." Kristoff said, turning his head to see Anna looking at them with a questioning look on her face. "I'll tell you later," He mouthed to her, earning a nod from her.

"Thanks," Elsa said. "Although you're kind of wrong about one thing. Unlike my sister, I'm not funny."

"No, you're funny in your own way. You just don't notice it, Elsa." Kristoff said.

"Really?" Elsa asked. "Name one time when I've been funny."

"Hmm," Kristoff thought about it for a little bit, leaning away from Elsa, then said, "Well, there was that one time when you helped Anna learn how to skate and well, I guess that really isn't funny, huh?"
