The she cat playfully laughed to herself for it was always fun to toy with her next victim. To watch the look of dismay and defeat, sometimes even fear.

"Ghost lives up to her name, yes?" Asked the she cat.

"This one loves to play many games. Hide and seek per say but for now we play seek and destroy." On the final word, she darted out from the bushes again, using an invisible wall of magic to knock him off of his feet.

Using his shield to absorb the impact of the blast, the spell sent Eon flying backwards, resulting in a smooth backflip.

''Seek and destroy it shall be then. I will seek and destroy you, for you are nothing but a pesky little fly awaiting to get swatted!'' said Eon angrily.

Ghost laughed, "Angry little human, you cannot catch watch you cannot see. For this one will-"

The she cat cut herself short, her attention suddenly turning towards the east. A familiar scent, of both wolf and werewolf were fast approaching as they carried on the wind.

"This one fear she must cut the visitation short. May your path always lead you to warm sands." Bowing her head, a quick incantation whisked her to a far off location, out of the vicinity in which Tali and Xandra came crashing in mometarily afterwards.

Tali looked around cautiously before turning back to Eon, "Eon, who is it that you were fighting? Where are they?"

''The stupid b#tch just left because you two had to show up.'' he said, slightly annoyed.

''No matter, I will kill her next time.''

Eon covered the flesh wound with his hand in an attempt to hide it from Tali and Xandra, for his pride as a head-knight was deeply hurt since he was reduced to playing a childish game of hide and seek that resulted with an ugly scratch. He felt like a complete idiot.

Tali furrowed her brow and grimaced at Eon, "Excuse me for being concerned about you. Next time I'll just let you face your battles alone and see how well that goes."

Pocketing the dagger back into her sheath, she beckoned him to follow her back to camp, "I smell blood. Now tell me, is it yours or the enemies?"

Eon looked around to make sure Ghost wasn't still around watching them, but saw not a single sign of her. He then sheathed his sword and headed back to camp.

''Nevermind it, It's just that I was so close killing that stealthy wench. And of course the blood is not mine.'' Eon lied.

Tali didn't completely trust the tone in his voice but thought against voicing her concerns. He was stubborn and at this late at night, the last thing she wanted to do was argue about the scent of blood that may or may not be his.

"Yes... well then. Let's atleast get back to camp before the nights over with. I'd like to have some form of rest before getting up at the ass crack of dawn once more."

Xandra had already made her way back to the encampment while they were talking. She had no concern for Eon and his poor attempts of lying. There was no impending danger, nothing that involved her. And with that in mind, she settled back in her spot and went to sleep.

Eon walked back while muttering something negative.

''Whoever that so-called ''Ghost'' may be, I will unmask her for I do not believe in such a thing as ghosts.'' he thought.

Being still somewhat worried of an ambush in his sleep, Eon nestled down against a tree again, staring blankly in fornt of him. Only until to fall into a light sleep a little while later.

The morning creeped up on them faster than expected, giving wake to a new day with new adventures.

Xandra was the first to rise from her slumber. She whined softly, stretching and yawning as the first rays of dawn caught in her eyes. A positive thought then caught in her mind 'That was the best sleep I've had in a long time. Maybe traveling this world won't be so bad. '

She scanned the camp, noticing Tali and Eon were still fast asleep, 'I could have found better company though.' She thought offhandedly, wandering off to get a drink.

Having slept only for a small while, Eon woke up.

''Damn it how could I have been such a fool to fall asleep, that crazy b#tch could've killed me!'' he muttered to himself.

He got up and looked around to see if Tali was there, and she was, but Xandra was nowhere to be seen.

''Not sure where the mutt waddled of to, but I don't really care. As long the werewolf girl is okay, that's all that matters, really.''
