When Steele got over to the village almost every human and dog were awake and walking around the streets..

Steele sighed. 'Well isn't this lovely,' he thought. He then saw the vet office and made sure that the coast was clear.

Surprisingly the vet was still asleep despite all the racket outside

Steele then thought of an idea. 'Hey I'm a dog and the vet won't hurt me if I act hurt!' He started to scratch on the door and began to whine.

The vet eventually woke up. He opened the window and saw the dog at the door. Groaning, the vet closed the window and again locked it before putting on his lab coat. He made sure that Annabeth was still in the room before closing the door after her so that she wouldn't go anywhere.

Steele growled, 'Let's get this over with you stupid little human pest.' He waited until he saw the human with a lab coat on and groaned, 'I don't plan on staying here long vet. I have a wolf to bring back.' He then thought of how he was going to do it. 'Well I can use deserted alleyways to bring her back.'

The vet opened the door. He frowned as no one was there and again locked it. One of the dogs suddenly noticed Steele on the roof. "Hey there's that psycopath helping the wolves!"

Steele just ignored the dog and said to Annabeth, "You better get out of there or Kodi gets it! Tell the vet to get you out by scratching against the door or something. Your father is waiting for you!" Annabeth gulped and started scratching the door.

The dogs began throwing rocks and snowballs at Steele. Some of them began climbing onto the roof. The vet meanwhile opened the door of his bedroom so that he could get back inside. It didn't really matter since all the other doors and windows were locked.

Annabeth went outside of his bedroom and started whining to get outside of the front door, thinking Kodi was in danger. Steele immediately jumped down off the roof before the dogs could climb up and get him and before the vet saw him.
