Bambi shrugged, "He probably woke up early. I know it's hard getting used to, but he's the prince now."

Her grandmother wasn't really believing him, "Are you going to?"

Nello nodded and looked at his sister, "You want to come?"

Faline smiled and licked Bambi. "No it is not hard to get used to." She looked at Membo. "It is going to be hard for him to get used to not having a mother."

The fawn shook his head. "Nope."

Marena smiled and said, "Sure."

Bambi tried to sound reassuring, "He'll be fine eventually. Just like I did, he'll get over it at some point."

The grandmother continued to eye him, "You better not."

Nello smiled and got up, "So, where are we going today?"

Faline nodded. "Even though I don't want him to feel sad I don't want him to forget Gurri either."

The fawn nodded. "Yes ma'am." He then left.

Marena said, "Perhaps we can agree NOT to see that fawn today."

Bambi said, "How can he ever forget her? She was his mother after all."

Nello didn't know why did his sister say that, but he shrugged it off, "Okay."

Faline nodded. "Of course. I apologize Bambi." She looked around. "Well I am going to sleep." She put her head down, Membo still in her arms.

Marena said, "You don't find him annoying?"

Bambi wanted to say goodnight, but it was morning, so he didn't. "I'll watch over both of you."

Nello looked at her confused, "Do you?"

Faline started to fall asleep and dreamed about all of the good moments with Gurri.

Marena sighed. "I asked you first."

While Faline fell asleep Membo seemed to be just waking up.

Nello shrugged, "I dunno... Sometimes, a little. But he's nice"

Faline noticed that and woke up herself. "Did you sleep alright Membo?"

Marena laughed and said, "Please elaborate."
