Annabeth said, "Well you go ahead I have to...get something first."

Her companion nodded, "I'll meet you on the hill where I waited this morning." he then left.

Annabeth soon waited until things quieted down and then went back to see Kodi.

Balto was still waiting for the wolves to leave. However when he saw the female wolf enter Kodi's room again he cursed. Did they continue coming back to him because they knew he was his son? He remained hidden just in case the other wolf showed up again.

Suddenly Annabeth growled at him to make her presense known. "Alright dog I will give you one more chance to tell me or I will do my own kind of torture. You dogs are nothing. Wolves beat you in intelligence, strength, brutality, and beauty." She laughed.

Kodi looked at her, "I already told you everything I know."

She then said, "Very well then. Now I'll go get that dog and tell her about 'us.' She laughed.

This time Kodi laughed, "Us?" he found it funny, "She's not that stupid, and neither am I."

The wolf said, "Oh she's that stupid. It is your word against mine. I'll force you to but she will get hurt by you."
