Kodi sighed. He went over to the door and scratched it. Aleu smiled at him and waited for him to continue.

Annabeth said nothing and waited for the vet to emerge. "He isn't going to be annoying right?" Kirby smiled, "I'll hug those little brats..."

Kodi looked at her, "I really don't know..." it was then when the vet opened the door. Aleu also smiled, "Which ones?"

Kirby said, "All of them." He laughed. Annabeth just closed her eyes and gulped as the vet emerged.

Aleu smiled. The vet was surprised at seeing Kodi and Annabeth, especially Annabeth. Kodi just said to her, "Try to ignore his annoyance..."

Kirby said, "Aleu maybe you should stay out of this. He doesn't know you are Balto's daughter...I mean you have to think about more than just yourself now..." Annabeth just nodded.

Aleu said, "I dunno if I should just leave Kodi on his own in this..." The vet slowly crouched and just looked at Annabeth for a few seconds. He then got up and walked back inside though he left the door open. Kodi said, "Should we go inside?" he didn't know whether Annabeth should take that risk.

Annabeth said, "Well Kodi you got me into this so it is up to you." Kirby said, "Aleu you know what I mean by that..." He pointed.

Kodi hesitated for a moment but then slowly walked inside. Once he was inside he heard the vet talking to himself yet again. He was somehow relieved, "This might work..." Aleu just stared at Kirby with a blank expression.

Annabeth laughed, "If it doesn't I'll just be talked to death." Kirby just smacked his face with his paw and said, "I meant uh ya know what might be happening...in ya know." He pointed to her stomach.
