I saw Morgan at one of the windows and said with such calmness I was surprised, "Hi there, I came to see Derek, just so we could get to know each other better and stuff." 'I hope she doesn't through it,' I thought as I waited for her answer.

[Queen Elsa]

"He's down planning our wedding," Morgan replied. "And I'll do whatever it takes to make sure I get my happy ending. You, nor any other mermaid, are going to ruin this for me."

I noticed Morgan leave and was curious on what she was up to, so I followed her, but stayed a good distance back. I noticed her swim into my room, and swam faster. I heard Morgan saying something harsh, and I swam up to her, not noticing the other woman. "Morgan, what's going on?" I asked. That' s when I noticed her there. "What are you doing here?" I asked, trying not to sound hostile.

I felt some anger from what Morgan said, then I said, "Look, I get that you are busy with your....wedding, but I was wondering if maybe we could talk?"

I looked at Morgan, then at the stranger girl that seemed familiar, and then at Morgan again. "Can you leave us alone for a few minutes? I'll meet you downstairs," I promised. She looked at the ground for a few seconds, then nodded. I raised her chin and gave her a quick kiss, and then she swam out. "What did you want to talk about?" I asked the girl.

I winced when he gave Morgan a kiss, then said, "Look, I'm sorry for what had happened and everything. I just....Maybe we could start over, at least, get to know each other better?"

[Queen Elsa]

"Sure," I said. "That would be nice. So, where do you live? I've only seen you that once here in the ocean, or, at least, close to Atlantica."

"I live at the castle that's close by. My mom is Ariel, youngest daughter of King Triton, my grandfather." I said as I messed with a strand of my hair.

[Queen Elsa]

"Wait, you're King Triton's granddaughter?" I asked, surprised. I knew Triton and his other six daughters pretty well, and I heard stories about the seventh daughter. "So, wait, are you a mermaid or a human?"

"Well, I was a human, but then Morgana put this spell on me so I would become a mermaid. Ever since then, I can turn into a mermaid when I am in the ocean." I said with a shrug.

[Queen Elsa]

"Oh, okay," Derek said, but the explanation confused him a little. How could someone be both a mermaid and a human, even with a spell? He decided not to dwell on it too long. "So, how old are you?" he asked.
