Ashelin slowly turned her head towards Matt as he entered the room. She had wiped away the tear stain on her cheek and her eyeliner had not leaked luckily so it hadn't looked like she'd been crying. She was sat in her jeans and brown vest top, her hoodie discarded on the other side of the room. As Matt fell onto the bed she took a moment to glance at what weapons he had on him. Ashelin had a piece of glass, handcuffs and a piece of material under the bed ready for later in the evening and she saw that Matt too had a couple of guns and a knife on him. Perfect. Plus he was drunk, an added bonus for Ashelin.

She lay back next to him, her head propped up on her arm and a fake smile on her face. She pulled her ponytail over her shoulder and her fringe back over her ear. The feelings and her thoughts were all pushed back. She had prepared herself for this all day and no matter how much she hated it, she knew it was for the best.

"I missed you, every minute of the day" She whispered to him, kissing him gently again.

She pulled away and looked down at him. She placed a hand on his cheek and ran her hand down his face, neck and then found the zip on his jacket.

"You are so perfect" She said kissing him and pulling the zip.

**

Ashelin tried to fight those memories of that night. She'd done everything Matt had wanted and felt physically sick as she lie there in the darkness waiting for him to fall asleep. She looked over at the clock which read 11.09 now. Then she heard it, a faint snoring from his mouth. He was finally asleep. She slipped silently from the bed and dressed. She noticed at once her hands were shaking so scolded herself and warned herself to focus on the task at hand. She looked a wreck she noticed as she looked in the mirror in passing, but she cared not.

She walked over to Matt's jeans and began pulling off the weapons and anything he could use against her before standing up and returning to the bedside. She took the glass in her hand and pulled back the bedsheets. The man was still out thanks to the beer. She could have slipped away, but there were the gang members to deal with too and of course the others to save. Not to mention, she wanted to hurt Matt for what he'd done to them and most of all.. What he'd done to her.

Pulling back her hand she thrust the glass into the mans foot with brutal force, but placed a hand over his mouth to stop his cry of pain. When she saw his eyes open, she was wearing a wicked smile on her face.

"Hey sweetie" She mocked, pressing a gun to his head. "Get changed, you and me are going for a walk. Make so much as a sound and this bullet will go through your throat" She said, roughly pulling her hand away.

Sam was creeping around outside the building when he saw Jack and Harvey in the lobby. He gasped and hid behind a tree hoping they wouldn't stop him. He looked over to the lobby and couldn't see George anywhere. Had they moved him? Had he escaped? Where was Ashelin and Aimee? He checked his watch. 11.31. There was still time.

Matt's eyes snapped open. After what felt like a reasonably good night, he hadn't expected this in the slightest. With a deep, heavy sigh, he stood up. She had him. There was no point in kicking up a fuss. Matt pulled on his shirt while thinking of the night they had shared? It had been a lie? He should of known. Nonetheless...he had a good run so Matt didn't complain, not while being under gunpoint anyway.

He pulled on the rest of his clothes with little effort. The alcohol had worn off now, and his hangover had begun. Still, he remained alert. If there was a chance to dis-arm her, he'd take it.
-----
Aaron was pacing the room. He was coming to the point where he'd have to decide to stay or go. He didn't like to admit it but he often got scared of what this gang were capable of. Aimee watched him with a faint curiousity, but more so worry.
"Where's George..." she muttered.
"He should be coming" Aaron replied, wringing his hands together. There was a knock and Aaron approached the door cautiously. Opening it, he saw George standing there looking a bit shaky but impressed with himself
"I'm here" he breathed, taking support from the door frame.

Aimee flung herself at her brother and hugged him for the first time in what felt like forever. George graciously hugged her back before taking Aaron by the shoulder. "You with us mate?". Aaron thought for a moment and then gave one strong nod. "Good. We'll oufind Ashelin and head off".
"She should be on the floor below us" Aaron said, picking up the case that had pretty much all his valuables in.
"You bringing that?" George said, looking a bit apprehensive. Aaron opened the window and threw it out, luckily, it landed onto of a hedge and didn't make much noise.

"I'll get it on the way out". The three of them walked out of the room and fell silent, slowly making there way to the stairs to descend to the next floor.

Ashelin's eyes were like a hawks. She intended to remain totally focused on the task ahead in order to let her people get out of here. Last night was not going to be a waste of time, she was damned sure of that. When Matt was dressed, she roughly grabbed his wrist with one hand, the other remaining clutched to the gun. She bound his hands together with the handcuffs behind his back and gave him a kick in the stomach. This made her wince ever so slightly due to the bruising he had inflicted upon her the previous night.

"Aww, what's the matter? Did you think I actually liked you? Did you think I actually enjoyed being with you last night?" Ashelin snarled giving him a kick forward.

At all times she kept her eyes on Matt, even when she opened the door to the corridor. Roughly, she grabbed the chains on his cuffs and pushed him forwards not caring how much she hurt him. Now she needed to find the others. As they walked along the corridor, Ashelin kept checking over her shoulder for a sign of a patrol, but thankfully nobody was about at this time of night. They were all more than likely asleep. Anger kept her going and kept her sane at this moment in time, even though she still felt dirty and ashamed.

As they exited the double doors she saw three figures and she nearly panicked, but soon realized who they were. She looked a total wreck, so tried not to look at any of them directly. She reached down and pulled out Matt's spare gun and threw it to George.

"I hope you remember how to use one of these" She said, her own gun held to Matt's head.

She locked eyes with Aimee for a moment and passed her Matt's knife, the one he'd used to cut Sam. She looked away hastily at the teenagers shock of realization that Ashelin looked beaten. She turned to Aaron wondering what he would do as Matt would surely guess he was siding with these three now.

Matt didn't really feel the pain of the kick, he was far too angry for that, nor did he feel the pain of her grabbing of the cuffs. Matt growled lowly to himself. He hadn't believed she enjoyed herself, but he had believed she was 'up for it'.
"You did everything I asked of you, what was I meant to think sugar cube?" he said under his breath. Not really caring if she heard of not.

When George saw Ashelin, his instinct was to run up and greet her. As he grew nearer, he saw the state she was in and gave her a concerned frown he caught the gun. Aimee took the knife without much hesitation. Matt looked up at that point, and was throughouly shocked to see Aaron standing there. "Matt? Whatcha doing?" he asked with an eye brow raised.

"Sorry 'boss', friends come first". Aaron smirked like he had never smirked before. Matt huffed
"I thought I could trust you".
"You thought wrong" Aaron replied, pulling his own pistol from his pocket.

He gave a nod to Ashelin. He wasn't going to ask her what had happened, it wasn't his place, but it must of taken something to be able to get Matt like this, so he had a degree of respect. George stared at Matt with a sort of yearning. He wanted to hurt him. For hurting Ashelin, his sister and Sam. Now wasn't the time or place however.

Ashelin's sides were hurting still from when Matt had kicked the crap out of her the previous night. She winced slightly as a shot of pain crawled up her sides, but she ignored it as best she could. When Aaron revealed he was turning traitor to Matt, she nodded to him before giving Matt another sharp kick in the back, but that hurt her and she nearly doubled over in pain.

"Let's go... I'll go first with this monster then you follow. If they don't co-operate I will shoot him. Keep an eye on Harvey George, he'll be likely to do something stupid of heroic if any of them decide that. Aaron, keep an eye on that moron Jack. And Aimee, you keep a look out for Sam, he should be out in the car park" Ashelin said as they began to wander towards the lobby.

Ashelin roughly pushed Matt forward through the double doors. Jack was shocked by the sudden break in and stood up instantly.

"Don't any of you dare pick up a weapon or Matt here will be shot. Isn't that right sweetie?" She snarled in Matt's ear as the other gang members began to stir.

(Gonna do a time skip, feeling a bit lazy to carry this on x3)

They had all managed to escape alive; but not managed to escape unharmed. Ashelin was in the state she was, having been used and abused by Matt. George was beaten through. Aimee was traumatized from everything, as was Sam. Lastly Aaron, well, Aaron was finding that he was sinking back into alcoholism after a night sleeping beside his best friend's sister to save her from the horrors of what might of been.

George drove away, far away from the hotel in Newport where they had been held captive for 48 hours. Supplies and the camping equipment had been thrown into the back of the car hastily. The time to sit down and talk about things had not come yet.

They were still running. Ashelin was in the front passenger seat. Aimee, Sam and Aaron in the back. Aimee sat in the middle, staring out into the distance in front of her with little interest but panicked eyes.

There was complete silence. Someone was bound to break it sooner or later.

(Woooo, it liiiives! <3 )

Sam had led them all to the car. He was so happy when the three, plus Aaron had returned, to him it felt like his family had returned to him. When he had seen Aimee, he had hugged her and let them all back to the car where he had placed camping equipment and food for a good week atleast.

Ash wasn't holding up to well however. Once she had escaped the hotel she was fighting back tears all the way to the car and along the road. Even now her eyes glistened in the night and when they passed a street light, they were clearly visable. Out of habit, the small handgun she kept at her side so loyally was clamped in her hands. She was even shaking as she sat there, not able to hold it still.

Up ahead was a small woodland and a lake. Fresh water for them to clean their wounds and cover from passing vehicles if they went further down.

"Pull over... Over there" Ashelin said shakily, not her usual determined voice.

***

back at the hotel, lights and alarms went on and off. Jack threw himself against the door back at the hotel room in a bid for freedom. George, Ash and the others had managed to get them all into one hotel room and shut the power down. Matt however had been put in one of the other rooms for safety. He was the only one with a brain in the place, so they thought it best.

Jack turned to Harvey as if asking him to help with his futile attempt of escape.

Harvey had been stood, slightly in shock. He couldn't believe how things had turned. However, there was some sense still in him, and in a crisis, he was quick to act.
"The restaurant dining area's have glass double doors leading out to the gardens. Smash them, and we'll be out". The men rushed up, supplies strewn everywhere and heading to the area Harvey told them too. "Jack, get Matt and tell him we've got a way out".

----

George acknowledged Ashelin's request by swerving onto the hard shoulder. He stopped the car and waited for Aimee, Aaron and Sam to get out. Without speaking they started unpacking the supplies. Aaron went to George's window on the car.
"I'll find a good spot mate, take your time".

The young man nodded in response and watched as his sister, his best friend and the little boy moved away from the pair in the car. George didn't know what to say. What could you say to a young woman who has just been through hell? He reached out to grasp her shoulder in the comforting way.

Aimee had sleeping bags strewn over her back. She was following Aaron into the woodland. It was getting a darker as the ventured away, and Aaron fiddled around to find a torch. The three stood there for a little while, and Aimee took the time to finally speak to Sam.
"Hey buddy" she murmured. "Thanks for that hug earlier".

"Why do I have to get Matt? He'll be in a rotten mood after this..." Jack complained, but he headed off in that direction anyway.

He felt foolish for not thinking of the glass windows, but at-least they were making progress now. He came to the electricity room which had no entry signs all over it and hammered on the door. He had guessed Matt was in here for this was the last place he had seen him.

"Boss? You in there?" Jack called, hammering his fist on the wooden door.

***

Ashelin slowly stepped out of the car as they pulled over onto the side of the road. She was somewhat relieved when the other three drove off, but also shocked as George stayed behind with her. For that, she was somewhat grateful, but also fearful for showing emotions around him. She stumbled over to the side of the road and leant on one of the walls for support. She could feel her shoulders shaking under George's hand when he attempted to comfort her.

The horrors were all getting to her now. The pain in her stomach throbbed where she had been kicked, the bruise around her eye stung and the thought of what she'd done with that, that.. Monster.

Next the tears were falling and Ashelin sunk to her knees as she began to shake uncontrollably. A yell of anger, pain and hopelessness escaped her which echoed across the lake.

**

Sam followed Aaron and Aimee. He assumed Aaron was perfectly trustworthy now, but he was still a little cautious around him. He looked up at Aimee as she spoke, pleased to hear the silence had been broken.

"I was just so happy to see you! I can't believe we all managed to escape. I just hope we never see any of them again" Sam said looking a little worried at the thought.
