Kirby sighed, "Then we're dead..." Annabeth nodded. "Well we're all in this together. I hope that gives you some comfort."

Kodi managed a smile, "That if I die you'll die too? Not really..." he sighed, "We'll, we're almost there..." Aleu said, "Pretty much."

Kirby sighed, "Well that's uh great..." Annabeth sighed, "I meant that you don't have to go through this struggle alone."

Aleu sighed, "Maybe Kodi's plan will work." Kodi nodded before catching sight of the clinic. "Do you think you can act like a dog? And by like a dog I mean friendly towards humans."

Annabeth saw the building. "You are planning to put me in there. I'm telling you Kodi no where will be safe once my father looks for us. This just buys us time." Kirby nodded, "Maybe..."

Kodi said, "You're father can't come here..." he fell silent, "Hopefully..." Aleu said, "I don't even know what he's doing for the record."

Kirby laughed, "I figured that but you know I trust Kodi..." Annabeth laughed, "He would use the whole pack to kill the vet if he knew I was hiding in there."

Aleu smiled, "I know you do. And so do I." Kodi sighed, "Not funny." he went ahead and looked into the window. The vet was of course still awake and was sitting at his desk. "Well, here goes..."
