Adrian sat in a corner of the courtyard, crying hard. Elsa stood up, leaving Anna with Leon, and walked over to her son. Adrian looked up to see who was coming to him, then covered his face with his hands and cried harder.
"Adrian, stop crying," Elsa said.
"I burned him. I could have killed him!" he exclaimed.
"But you didn't. He's fine right now," Elsa said. "Please do not ever do that again. I don't care if they don't play fairly. You can't go around hurting everyone who presses your buttons. Dangerous things could happen that way."
"Sorry, Mama," Adrian said. "It won't happen again."
"I hope not, but as punishment, I want you to go upstairs into your room and stay there for the rest of the day. Do you understand?" Elsa asked.
"Does that mean I don't get any food?" he asked.
"I'll let your father decide that when he returns," Elsa said. "Go on." Adrian nodded and, with his head down, he walked up to his room.
