Nello managed not to laugh hysterically.

Membo looked at Karus' son, and he seemed pretty serious. "I will."

However then the fawn did the mistake of brushing up against Marena. She then said, "You stay away from me!" She kicked his leg and he said through gritted teeth, "Of course. I'll ask somebody else." He went back to Nello and screamed, "OW!" He looked at Nello, "Don't you laugh!"

Karus's son laughed and said, "Good now get out of here dorko."

Nello was only holding back a laughing fit, but he wasn't laughing or showing it. "I'm not laughing."

Membo then left. He had no idea that Karus' son just achieved his goal.

The fawn just nodded and was frustrated. "Man you'd think she would like me showing affection."

Gurri looked at Garo and said, "Do you think Membo has met any friends besides his cousins?"

Nello decided he should give the fawn some advice. "Look, I know my sister. If there's one thing she hates it is me being the center of attention. Start by showing her that you pay alot more attention to her than you do to me."

Garo shook his head, "I don't know. We should ask him later or something like that."

The fawn just shook it off. "I don't need any advice. I know how to get the attention of the does. I know how to attract them." He then looked at Nello. "So uh where is your cousin uh...Membo?"

Soon while Membo was travelling a doe fawn passed by him. "Hey where are the other fawns?"

Nello added, "Just trust me on this one. My sister is an exception. She also likes to be told that she's always right, by the way." he then shook his head as the fawn asked about Membo. "I haven't seen him today."

Membo was a little startled at first, but he soon shook it off and answered politely, "I don't know ma'am. There might be some on the meadow."

The fawn just nodded. "Well uh okay." He then said to Nello, "Your sister is gone! Well how do you like that? Guess I'll have to try another doe." He said to Nello, "Word of advice: never stay attracted to one doe for long."

The doe fawn said, "Ma'am? Uh okay thanks." She just walked off.

Nello looked at him confused, "Why not?"

The fawn laughed, "Because there are plenty of them to go around."

(I did but it doesn't matter. I was driving home the point of a possible friend.)
