Warrior Cats Roleplay with Zoketi [Private]

Lilypaw walked silently, watching the ground to make sure she didn't trip or fall or get stuck. StarClan forbid that happen; she didn't want to slow Bluestrike down, and she wanted to get to the Moonpool as quickly as possible. Of course, to be accepted by StarClan, which she hoped would happen, to meet the other medicine cats, and to possibly get out of the stupid rain.
She wondered why the rain hadn't stopped. Over the past few days it had been flickering on and off, but for a long time it was nonstop rain. It poured and poured, and still didn't show any signs of stopping. Was StarClan angry?

After a short while of quiet walking--Bluestrike wasn't a talkative individual--they were able to see the stream ahead. It was indeed quite flooded. The medicine cat glanced down along further upstream as far as he could see. Still overflowed, but perhaps it'd be less as they went on. So he hoped. He flicked his tail and trudged on, stepping through the tangle of twisted grass and mud. It was getting marshier as they neared the lake.

Bluestrike paused a short distance from the lapping edge of the lake, which was expanded way further than where the normal shoreline was. He sniffed the air, then glanced to the left, squinting to see. There, two shapes making there way through the swampy edge of the land, heading from RiverClan territory. As they drew nearer the tabby tom made out Splashfish's frosted brown tabby pelt and Blossompaw's torbie fur. He lifted his tail in greeting.

Splashfish lifted her own tail and waved it just slightly. "Hello, Bluestrike," she called. She glanced at Lilypaw. "Who is this?" She knew who Lilypaw was; Bluestrike's new apprentice, as it wasn't like Bluestrike would just bring a random cat with him. But it seemed more sensible than to say something stupid like, "That's your apprentice, right?"
Splashfish glanced down at her own apprentice. Splashfish was mainly a peaceful cat, friendly and kind. But after the fight that Pebblestorm had described, it was natural for her to be slightly tense, she hoped.

Bluestrike nodded slightly, then swished his own tail down and nudged his apprentice forwards. "This is Lilypaw, my apprentice." he meowed calmly, his gaze flicking over the two RiverClan she-cats. Both looked as though they'd seen better days. Blossompaw was scowling at her mentor's side, looking rather unimpressed with the tiny white apprentice who flanked WindClan's medicine cat. Bluestrike nodded to her, then fixed his yellow gaze back to Splashfish. "Shall we?" he asked, wanting to get moving. They'd made good time so far, but there might be other hold ups later one that could delay them. The weather made things unpredictable.

[Yas, Blossompaw, be unimpressed with Lilypaw, but soon you shall meet her bro]

Splashfish nodded and started heading towards the direction of the Moonpool. She didn't really notice her apprentice's look of disgust towards Lilypaw. Fortunately, neither had Lilypaw. Well, she had- but she couldn't really tell whether Blossompaw was unimpressed with her size or whether that was just Blossompaw's daily face.
Lilypaw walked slightly behind Bluestrike, still making her pace quick enough so she could make sure she didn't fall too far behind. She flattened her ears. "Hi," she murmured timidly to Blossompaw, not really anticipating a friendly response.

Bluestrike twitched an ear at Lilypaw, then turned and padded next to the other medicine cat, keeping a few steps between the two for personal space. To be honest, he would consider his closest friend out of the medicine cats to be Stonecliff, of ShadowClan. Perhaps it was due to the fact that their two Clans hardly quarreled, since there was no shared border. But Stonecliff was similar in personality, though he did have a good sense of humor and was more friendly than Bluestrike.

The torbie-and-white she-cat tailed her mentor, intent on ignoring the white kitten that Bluestrike had brought. However, Lilypaw spoke to her, and Blossompaw was forced to at least give some acknowledgement. "You sure you're up for this trip?" she snorted, eyes full of disdain.

Lilypaw nodded. She could detect the sarcasm and disdain in Blossompaw's voice- a deaf badger could sense it. "Yes," she mewed, "of course." She had been prepared for Blossompaw's sarcastic comments. After all, Sparrowpaw sort of molded her into getting used to it. She was at least grateful Blossompaw hadn't made a rude remark about the fight between WindClan and RiverClan. She wouldn't really know what to say if that was the case.

Silverfish was up ahead, so she didn't hear the "conversation" between Lilypaw and Blossompaw. She wondered where Stonecliff and Robindapple were. They were probably somewhere ahead, she supposed. It wasn't like there was another place for them to be. They most likely weren't already at the Moonpool.

Blossompaw flicked the tip of her tail in an arc over her back, tossing her head aside. Spotting a small insect clinging to a blade of grass, she smirked slightly. "Well, if a cricket can, I suppose you can too." she mewed airily, her eyes flicking lazily away. She glanced ahead, looking between the two older medicine cats. The stream was almost a river, really. It was just like the streams that had sent RiverClan out of their camp and to higher ground for the time. She snapped her jaws together angrily. She liked water, yes, but now it had become the enemy.

Further along just out of sight, across the stream on ThunderClan's side, were the four other medicine cats. Stonecliff walked next to Robindapple, while their apprentices Cloudpaw and Whitepaw trotted around them, in reasonably good moods.

Lilypaw flicked her ear. Blossompaw was rather clever, but she wouldn't let Blossompaw's words get to her. Perhaps Blossompaw went through a lot of hardships in her life and was influenced by them. She trudged along, trying to avoid places where the mud was especially deep or sticky. She wouldn't really remind Blossompaw to be careful; the RiverClan medicine cat apprentice probably was warned by her mentor to be cautious.
Lilypaw didn't really like rain anymore, and it wasn't really a bit mystery why. At first, she had enjoyed it when it rained in small drizzles. But when it poured and flooded the Clan territories. In short, she had lost her liking for rain. She didn't want to know how many cats the floods may have harmed.

[Should we think of sort of a way how Blossompaw became really bad-tempered and stuff?]

The older apprentice picked up her pace, leaving the white kit behind and pacing next to her mentor instead. After a few quiet minutes, with the only sound being paws splashing in marshy grass terrain, the four cats came in view of the ThunderClan and ShadowClan medicine cats, across the wide stream. Bluestrike lifted his head and gazed over. They were still a good bit ahead. "Robindapple! Stonecliff!" he called, struggling forwards through the swampy mess.
