Hans bowed to Anna and then walked away, letting out a sigh of relief. He had done it. He got away without being revealed. He walked quickly back to the barn where they were staying.
"Kristoff and Anna are suspicious," he blurted out.
"Suspicious?" Adan repeated.
"Yeah. Apparently you weren't able to fool them enough," Hans said. "You have to do a better job at acting like you're on their side."
"Okay, I'll try," Adan said.
"No. Don't try. You will do it," Hans insisted. "And if you don't, well, there will be some dire consequences."
