Melony hesitated but then went to eat from the bowl that was right next to the one Jempa was eating from.

Jempa paused for a brief moment to look at Melony, but then resumed eating.

Melony attempted to start a conversation as they were eating. "Good work today..." she said, not able to think of anything else.

Samson looked up from his bowl. "Yes. If we keep it up, we'll be there in no time," he said.

Melony smiled, "Definitely." she said and then ate some more.

Jempa finally looked at Melony. "Your running was good," he said, not knowing what else to say.

Melony felt as if her cheeks were about to turn red. She hoped she managed to stop them from doing so, but she couldn't tell for sure. "Thank you. I think you also did very well."

Lilly had obivously chosen a bowl next to Hammy as she started to eat, she looked at Melony and smiled widely, mouthing some words, "Tell Jempa how you feel when your next alone!".

Melony blushed, "Uh... I'll try..." she doubted she'll have the guts to.

After he finished eating, Hammy looked at Lilly. "Well, Lilly, once we return to Nome, we can move on with our lives. Hopefully, our destinies include each other," he said.
