[Arani]

Kara couldn't help but notice a slight faulter in Kayan's voice, but she decided to dwell on it later. Instead, they walked the rest of the way in silence. After only a few minutes, they had arrived at her den. Snoring came from the inside. "Thanks again, Kayan. See you tomorrow?"

Kayan, during the entire time they walk, wanted to ask Kara why did she plan that they took the long way so that they could talk and was saying nothing, but he didn't mind whether they talked or not. He just liked being around Kara, no matter what either of them was doing. He smiled at Kara once they arrived by Amani's then, "Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow." he again smiled as he watched her walk inside, "Goodnight Kara." once she was inside, Kayan let out a dreamy sigh, which was followed by a yawn that reminded him of how tired he was. He went over to the den Kara showed him earlier that day and went to sleep.

Kara had a hard time sleeping that night. She couldn't stop thinking about how Amani was acting earlier that day. 'What's her game...?' She kept asking hrself over and over again. She looked over at the cubs, who were dead asleep, their chests gently riasing and falling. 'Why did she suddenly want to give them attention?' She sighed and closed her eyes once more, eventually slipping into a deep sleep. She awoke early the next morning. Reluctantly, she got up and shook herself, walking out into the sun. Amani was no where in sight. 'That's odd...' She thought, looking around. She shrugged it off and started for the waterhole.

Kayan woke up eventually after a good sleep. He had a hard time falling asleep at first because he couldn't stop thinking about Kara, but his tiredness took over eventually. Letting out a yawn, the male cheetah stretched and stood up. He wondered whether Kara was awake already, but figured that he could go check that out once he had some water.

[Arani]

Kara arrived at the waterhole and started drinking. She kept a close eye on her surroundings, and her ears were on high alert. She was strangely on edge. Once she was finished drinking, she sat down at the waters edge, still looking around cautiously. A snap of a stick from the nearby trees made her just up in alarm and turn to see who was coming towards her.

Kayan continued walking towards the waterhole, a slight smile spreading across his muzzle as he noticed Kara was there. He wanted to greet her but just as he was about to say good morning, he accidently stepped on a stick and broke it, resulting in a snap sound. Kayan figured out that this wasn't the type of greeting he should have given. Instead of saying hello he probably just scared her to death. "Oh, sorry..." he said, his ears flattening against his head as he gave Kara an apologetic smile.

Kara let out a sigh of relief as soon as she saw Kayan. "It's alright." She smiled and gave him a short nuzzle before looking around once more. She turned her attention back to Kayan and smiled again. "So, what do you wanna do today?"

Kayan carried on however, "I was about to say 'good morning' but then I stepped on this--" he was cut off as Kara nuzzled him, and after that he finally fell quiet. He smiled back at her, "I dunno really... I guess we could just... Hang around, talk..." he didn't really mind what they did.

[Arani]

Kara smiled again and stood. "Well then. I personally think a nice walk and talk would be great." She looked west. "How about a walk around the borders?" She asked him, turning to him again.

Kayan smiled, "I'd love that." he still didn't care where they went and what they did. Being with Kara was enough for him.
