[Arani]

Kara smiled as Kayan nuzzled her again. After what seemed like an eternity, she finally rested her head on his shoulder, looking up to the sky. She suddenly realised how late it was getting. "It's getting pretty late." She commented, looking at him out of the corner of her eye. "Should we head back?"

Kayan only then noticed how late it was. 'Wow, time sure flies...' he didn't want to pull away from her just yet, "Uh... Do you want me to walk you back to your den?"

[Arani]

Kara nodded. "I'd like that." She stood up. "You'd be perfectly welcome to stay with the cubs and I if you get to cold. If you don't feel comfortable with it, that's fine. Just thought I'd mention it."

Kayan smiled. He wouldn't mind at all staying in the same den with Kara or Amani's cubs, who were absolutely adorable. "But... what about Amani? Or her father?" he wasn't sure how the other two would react to him, especially Amani's father who hadn't even met him before. Maybe it would be best if he slept in he other den. "Come on, I'll walk you back..." he said, smiling at her as he too stood up.

[Arani]

"Amani's father has his own den. But if you're worried about Amani... for now it might be best if you stay in the other den, I guess. Amani's never liked rogues. But maybe if she knows about... us, she'll accept you." Kara gave him a charming smile as they began walking towards Kara's den. "And if not... well, I'll think of something at that point." Her smile faltered, but only for a moment as to not give away anything of what she was just thinking to Kayan.

Kayan felt his heart begin to race as Kara gave him her charming smile. He smiled back at her, "Well, it doesn't matter now... Come on, it's really late..." he began walking but then looked at Kara, "Uh... I'm supposed to walk you back, but I have no idea where the den is..." he said, smiling nervously at his predicament. He knew where 'his' den was, but not Amani's.

Kara laughed and nodded her head in the direction they were going. "This is the long way to it, but it'll get us there." She Smiled at him again. The spark she had felt all night finally got in, and Kara let herself accept that she really did Like Kayan... A lot. "Gives us a little more time to talk, so I'm happy with the long way around."

At first Kayan was confused about why was Kara aiming that they went the long way, but as she mentioned that it will give them more time to be together, he brought a paw to his forehead, "Oh, yeah... Silly me..." he smiled and began walking slowly alongside Kara. "Kara, I... Tonight's been amazing, really..."

[Arani]

Kara nodded her agreement. "Ya. Amazing. Thank you for the wonderful time, Kayan. I mean it when I say that this was one of the best nights I've ever had." Her heart rate increased ever so slightly, but enough to make her wonder what it was about Kayan that pulled her in. "I hope that we can go out again soon." She smiled yet again. She truely did hope that he hoped the same.

Kayan also smiled. There was just something about Kara that made him feel the way he was feeling about her. "Me too..." He wouldn't mind spending the rest of his time being with Kara, but she had her own life and pride unlike him.
