Membo shook his head at her. He only woke up 10 minutes ago, how could he be tired already?

Leah obviously didn't want to talk about, "What does it matter?"

A slight frown appeared on Nello's face as his sister again tried to knock the rabbits over. A second later he found himself on the ground with his sister on top of him. After a few seconds he managed to get free and stand back up.

Gurri just nodded. "Well we better keep going."

Ronno blurted out, "It matters to me!"

Marena frowned as well as she found herself on top of her brother. She looked over to him and then tried to headbutt him. Lana then called her over. "Alright Marena you need to calm down a little."

Membo took another bite of flowers when Gurri wasn't looking, swallowed it and then caught up with her.

Leah frowned at him, "Which part of 'I don't want to talk about it' don't you get?"

Long Ears' irritation dissapeared as Lana finally told her daughter to calm down. Nello and the rabbits meanwhile ran off again.

Gurri looked back at her son. "You know Membo I was about your age when I met some of my first friends."

Ronno just sighed and looked away disappointed.

Marena just walked over and laid down, disappointed. Lana looked at Long Ears' face. "Something wrong?"

All Membo could do was smile at his mother and ask himself where were those friends of her.

Leah just ignored her mate's dissapointment, knowing that she wasn't going to talk about it no matter what. She wondered where were Garo and his family at the moment, maybe they were in their thicket.

Long Ears shook his head, "Now nothing's wrong." Nello and the rabbits meanwhile dissapeared between some trees.

Gurri started talking again. "One of those friends was your father."

Ronno laid down and just put his head down disappointed with himself. Why did he do everything wrong? Why was his life just a big vat of nothing? Why couldn't he seem to do anything right with Leah?

Lana looked confused. "Now?"

This caused Membo to become more interested at his mother's story.

Leah continued walking untill she noticed that Ronno wasn't next to her anymore. She looked around at him, "What's the matter with you? Are you coming or not?"

Long Ears nodded, "Yeah." he didn't want Marena to get used to kicking rabbits with her hooves, especially after considering the fact that she would grow bigger some day.

Gurri just kept talking, "Your father and I met out on the meadow. You'll see it later Membo."

Ronno looked up at her. "Where are you going?" He then looked at Leah and said, "Uh would you uh...wish to sit beside me for a few minutes?" He hoped he could pull this off.

Lana said, "I thought you males know how to defend yourselves. Anyway does are always usually wild and energetic anyway. She'll grow out of it." She looked over at Marea still sitting there.

Membo had so many questions running through his mind; What was the meadow? Where? Who? If he could only ask all of them...

Leah wanted to suggest going to Gurri's thicket, but went over to Ronno and lay down next to him. "Sure."

Long Ears nodded, "Yeah, male deer perhaps. As you can see I'm smaller." he then looked around but didn't see neither Nello or his children anywhere. But he didn't feel like they should worry.

Gurri looked over at her son. Suddenly Bambi and another skunk came out. "Oh this must be the little one!"

Once she did that Ronno put his head down, waiting a few minutes, to wait until the moment was right.

Lana nodded and said, "I wouldn't worry about it." Marena then got up and decided to look for her brother but she couldn't find him anywhere. It was then she muttered her first word. "Nello!"
