'Here.' She reached forward and waved her hand. The feather flitted to the floor, much to Xavier's annoyance. He snatched it up, and did the same thing River had. No difference.

The wood had become a small dragon-esque figure which looked real enough. Lana peers at it with wonder, when Giovanni looks up, Lana looks away, she would give him satisfaction.

'I can't do it,' Xavier growled, slapping it away.

'It takes patience,' River said quietly. She was staring down at the now crumpled feather. He looked up at her, studying her face. He sighed, and started again.

Finished with the wood, Giovanni sighs. This was harder than he had thought, living with people.

"Err...If I'm not interrupting anything, I was wondering, could I go and check on Hatari?" He asks.

The feather moved a fraction of an inch. Xavier grinned, but carried on, focusing on the feather. River smiled.

'Im just going to get some air,' she told him. It was stuffy in the room, and she wanted Matias to have a quick run.

Outside, Giovanni picks up his pace, he rounds the corner and reaches the Stables. Hatari is stood, a long rat tail drooping from his jaws.

"I did nothing." He mumbles, finishing off his meal.

Giovanni shivers with disgust.

River stood out of the door, Matias at her heel. They sped down the stairs (briefly saying hello to one of the staff), finalky getting into the cool outside garden.

"I told you no teeth!" He jokes, but then frowns, "You want t get out of here, don't you?"

Hatari nods. Giovanni unlatches the gate. Hatari stoops down to let Giovanni climb onto the saddle, the two race off into the dark.

Matias shot around, rolling around into onto his back like a puppy. His tongue lolled out, a wolffish grin spread across his face. Rivera laughed, and chased after him.

They come to a stop by the forest edge. Steam rises from Hatari's nostrils.
