As expected, Septimus did not turn up. Neither did Issabelle, although rumors were that she had gone...The other news was that Septimus hadn't been seen since Rowen....
Rivera and Rotan turned up early, pulling their friends aside and briefing them on what happened.
'It was horrible,' shuddered Rivera, pulling her shawl tighter around herself. 'Its face- was purely terrified.' She shivered again, and would have cried if she could.
'We need to know what's going on. I believe Eden has some leads.' Rotan said, gesturing to the young werewolf, who nodded in response.
Septimus walks slowly, the cold biting at his skin as he trudges through the forest. He stops outside the house, wondering whether or not to go in. He decides against it, but listens through a window outside.
'We saw- people. Walking away from your house. We figured they were staff, but we found out they weren't... But it was too late.' She looked down at her lap sadly, as if she were unbearably ashamed of the matter.
'What did they look like?' Tried Rotan. Elijah spoke instead.
'One had flaming hair. The other was a blonde. Witches.'
Everyone turned sharply towards the noise, a pink flush creeping into Rowen's cheeks and Ramzy's arm moving around her, which she knocked away. Rhavyn turned back to Rivera. "That is not good." Rowen bites her cheek, remembering the perfume shop.
"Perhaps," she says slowly, "they own stores in London. Like herbs or medicine or perfume, see here they could mix things without arousing suspicion."
