War Cheetahs 2 Roleplay!

[Arani]

OCC: Sorry I didn't reply sooner! I've been REALLY sick.

Kara stood and shook out her fur some. "It's this way." She said, leading up the path that they had taken to get to the falls and into the grass. They walked in silence for a while, but Kara started to feel the awkwardness of the situation and started up a conversation. "There are only a few things I like about the night." She said, looking around. "One, you can see the stars. Two, the light bugs come out and give everything a little sparkle. And three, the moon gives off a light that just makes everything look... clean. Untouched, you know?" She glanced at him. "And of course getting to rest after long days, but I'm not counting that into my list."

Kayan smiled slightly to himself as Kara listed out the things she liked about the night most, as it caused him to remember the more pleasant nights he had been through. "Yeah, I know what you mean." he said, smiling at her before becoming curious about what specific star gazing place did the female have in mind. "Are we going anywhere specific?" he asked as they walk, "I mean... not that I mind not staying around in the same place... Actually it's fun just being with you." again, he smiled at her.

[Arani]

"I had a place in mind." Kara said, giving him a smile that gave nothing away. "I know more than a few nice spots here." She chuckled "It's not as nice as the falls of course, but it's pretty close, and that's saying something right there! It'll take a little while to get there, but we'll sill have a long time for star gazing."

Kayan smiled as Kara talked. He smiled almost everytime he heard her voice. "I can't wait already." he said, wondering why did Kara find the place they were going to special.

[Arani]

OCC: I hope this next part fits in well for a before the big fight love scene lol.

Kara lead on for a while, eventually stopping at an open field with tall grass."We're here." She said. Kayan looked around as she spoke again."It does not look like much, but watch this." She waded into the grass, eventually stirring up a single fire fly. She smiled and took a few more steps until a whole swarm launched into the air. She looked back at Kayan."See? The field is full of them!"

Kayan curiously looked at Kara like he was told as the female cheetah slowly walked into the grass. He smiled as he saw so many fireflies at the same time, and he ran over in a slightly different direction, eventually bringing out another big amount of them. "How cool is this?" he asked, looking at Kara's direction and then back at the fireflies that were now flying around everywhere.

[Arani]

"Very cool indeed." Kara walked over to him."You'd be amazed at how many interesting places there are around here." She looked at him, but didn't smile."I'd love to show you all of them, but... you know. You'll be moving on, unless what I have heard about rogues is wrong." She hoped that he wouldn't be leaving, and hoped that everything she always knew about rogues wasn't true.

Kayan said, "Actually, some rogues just like being on their own." he tried to ignore the hard memories from his past as he spoke, "Some don't have a choice..." he realised that this was a good time to bring up the possibility of him staying there, "In fact, I was kind of hoping I could stay here... If not with you all, then maybe in the den you showed me to earlier." he doubted Kara would have a problem with what he had just said, and the fact that she seemed to not want him to leave brought a smile to his muzzle, "We don't have to bother ourselves about it now though." he said with yet another smile, "Let's just focus on the moment and try to enjoy it."

[Arani]

Kara didn't have time to respond before he said he wanted to talk about it later. She smiled. "Alright, fair enough." She looked up. "See that star?" She pointed at one almost directly above them. "That's said to be king Mohatu's star. My grandaddy said there were great times when Mohatu was alive." She looked around. "He said that all great kings and queens of the past are up there. That's what Mohatu told him. But I don't understand why only great kings and queens of the lions get a star. What about the rest of us animals?"

Kayan smiled at her, "That's what my mother always told me when I asked where my father was." he said before looking up at the stars, "I guess everyone's not really gone in one way or another..." he continued staring at the stars, 'I guess they're both up there...' he sighed and closed his eyes, just to open them a moment afterwards as he felt a rather chilly breeze. "It's a bit chilly our here tonight..." He looked at Kara with a rather concerned expression, "Are you cold?"
