When he saw that the veternian forgot to close the door, the wolf quickly went inside. He found himself in a small waiting room and entered a hall. It led toward a room where he saw Kodi lying on a bed in one side and Dusty on a bed in the other side. 'This is almost too easy.' Balto saw this and jumped off the roof. He made sure the veterenian saw him before walking inside. The human saw him, "Hey, get out of there!" Annabeth's companion heard the noise and quickly went to hide as Balto found a way out through an open window on the second floor. The human snorted, "Stupid little brats." he went ahead and locked the door and all windows, the wolf realised that he was in big trouble.

Annabeth went outside at tried to look through the window to see what was going on.

The veterenian then decided to get back to what he was doing a moment ago and went back to Dusty's bed. Kodi meanwhile slowly opened his eyes, and as he realised that Dusty was there he slowly walked closer to see what the doctor was doing. Annabeth's companion was hidden under a couch in the waiting room, he looked at Annabeth from underneath it with a helpless look.

Annabeth made a signal to try and get Kodi somehow.

The doctor saw Kodi and patted him on the head, before turning his attention back to the bite marks on Dusty's neck. Annabeth's companion slowly got out from underneath the couch and peeked into the room. When he saw Kodi right next to the human he cursed.

Annabeth got his attention and tried to make a gesture as if to say to the wolf to separate the dog from the human somehow.

Kodi then slowly nudged Dusty with his nose and tried to wake her up. The human smiled, "Well what do we have here?" Kodi's ears flattened against his head. "She will be fine." however Kodi being so close was a little interrupting. "Why don't you go to sleep?" the clinic was the veterenian's house and he lived on the second floor. He led Kodi into a special room he reserved for animals to rest at and locked the door after Kodi entered. He whistled to himself and headed back to treat Dusty's injury.

Annabeth again said to her companion to get the dog. She motioned for him to grab the dog and then throw him out of the 2nd story window.

Her companion silently moved his lips telling her that he looked the door to Kodi's room.

She cursed but then suddenly the window came open and she crashed into the vet and was knocked out.
