Garo was a little taken aback, but he remembered the conversation with his father and fell silent.

Geno was quite amazed at how old the owl just turned out to be. His amazement was soon gone however, "What do you mean?"

Gurri snorted and put her head down.

Friend Owl said, "I mean young Prince that I am in the last of my days. My son will take over after I am gone for your children."

Garo remained completely silent.

Geno felt a little sad upon hearing Friend Owl talk about himself that way. "Don't say that..." he however felt curious, "Forgive me for asking, but what do you do? I mean what will your son do after he takes over?"

Friend Owl thought about it. "Well I usually see when the fawns of the Great Prince are first born and help out the Great Prince as best I can." He then came closer to Geno and said, "Want to hear stories about your father?"

Faline woke up noticing an owl close to her. "Friend Owl?"

Geno had always been excited when it came to stories about his father, especially about his father's fawnhood, "I'd love to." he said, before his mother arrived. He was still upset about earlier, but his curiousity got the better of him. "You know him?"

Faline nodded. 'He was there when you were first born. How have you been Friend Owl?" Friend Owl said, "Well I haven't been able to sleep much." He then looked at Geno. "Ah yes. This isn't from his fawnhood but this will do. When your father first started to grow antlers I saw him, Thumper and Flower together thinking they would never be twitterpated yet a few minutes later they met their own mates." He saw Geno's mate and said, "I see you are already twitterpated."

Geno wanted to ask something, but he felt slightly confused about that word 'twitterpated', "Twitterpated?" Bambi the skunk's mate meanwhile looked at Bambi. She remembered that Thumper was Long Ears' dad, but she was unfamiliar with the name FLower, "Who's Flower?" she asked quietly, so to not interrupt the others.

Friend Owl looked at Geno, "Yes it means a whole lot of feeling at once when you experience 'love.'" Bambi the skunk whispered to his mate, "That is my father. He is like me."

Geno then said, "Uh, I see..." Bambi's mate meanwhile raised an eyebrow, "You said I was your only family."

Friend Owl smiled. "I was there when your father was born as well. He couldn't walk very good and tried to 'roar' at Thumper." He kept telling more stories, "I was also there when your grandfather didn't want to watch your father." Meanwhile Bambi the skunk said, "Well he is too."
