Faline stood there and watched as her new friend tried to settle the dispute. "I'm trying to prove what a better suitor I am them him for any girl!" Ronno thought, "No don't say that." He thought once again. "I don't need to explain my self to you! And besides grown bucks fight all the time!" Ronno said pushing feathervenom out of the way gently with his front hooves.

[Nyota]

a flush of heat crashed over Feathervenom, but she then stepped in the way again. "Then wait to settle it whe you're full grown!" she said. "For now, we should focus on settling this another way."

Ronno looked at feathervenom, "And how do you suppose we do that?" Ronno said.
Faline looked over actually agreeing with Ronno, "Seriously how do you think they could do that?"

[Nyota]

"Simple," Feathervenom said. "You mentioned fighting. It wouldn't be a fair match to see who's stronger 'til Bambi gets his antlers started, too," she began. "So you'll just have to put it off till then."

"That's not simple it will take months for this little twirp to grow anything of antlers." Ronno said angerly still ready to fight.
Faline nodded her head side to side "Sadly fighting months from now is not gonna be worth it." Faline said softly.

[Nyota]

"How is it sad that fighting wouldn't be worth it? Fighting's never worth it!" Feathervenom said. Her distress was starting to show. "I still don't get why you want to fight in the first place!"

"That's how we settle things. Only the strong survive." Ronno said squinting at feathervenom then at Bambi. "Okay guys just forget it now." Faline said, looking from Bambi to feathervenom to Ronno.

[Nyota]

Feathervenom began to glance at the bushes for one reason or another, even though there was nothing there. "Faline's right; you should both just forget it. This is no way for a prince to be acting, nor a buck who's antlers are starting to come in. You should be more mature."

"Mature! Ha. Ronno?" Faline chuckled. "Hey! I can be mature! If I wanna!" Ronno said turning and squinting at Faline then feathervenom.

"Are you saying you want to be immature?" Feathervenom asked.
