Kodi grabbed one of the wolf's tail in his jaw and threw him off the ship's stairs. Aleu also sniffed, "Yeah."

The wolf again grabbed him to stop him. "You amaze us again dog." Kirby nodded. "Smells like trouble."

Aleu also nodded and then got to her feet. "Can you hear anything?" Kodi just looked at the wolf that grabbed him and said nothing.

The wolves then said, "This is our final offer dog. Take a mate from our pack or we'll kill all 4 of you." Kirby nodded. "We better go see."

Kodi then told them something, "I can't leave her. She's pregnant already." Aleu slowly nodded, "Maybe you should wait here."

The wolves laughed, "Then the pups will be slaughtered!" Kirby then said, "No! Maybe you should wait here...I mean it could be dangerous."

Kodi growled and again bit that one wolf. Aleu rolled her eyes, "I told you I don't need any protection Kirby." she started going up, "I'll be back in a flash."

Kirby then said, "And I am telling you now I don't need protection either." He followed her. The wolves again held him back, "How much do you love her dog? All of this for one wolf?"

Kodi's glare remained, "Yes. All of this, and there's more where that came from." Aleu then got up and spotted the few wolves that were around Kodi on the upper deck, along with the rest of their pack who waited down the ship. "Oh boy." she knew that this wasn't Annabeth's former pack because they weren't white-furred.

Kirby gulped. "Uh Aleu are you good at fighting wolves?" Suddenly the wolves laughed, "You are braver than we thought dog. We need someone brave like you..."
