Geno knew he couldn't tell them about Marena, for that might get them somehow angry at him again. "No, I didn't." he hated himself for saying that, but he had to avoid the subject when it came to them.

Garo gulped when a whole pack of wolves showed up, "Take it easy. We'll just go out of your territory okay?" those wolves really reminded him of Man's dogs, which wasn't a good sign.

Thumper sighed, "Yeah... It's like we were kids yesterday..." suddenly the forest came to an end, and there was literally nothing infront of them. All of a sudden Thumper could see the truck coming back. Only this time, Garo and Gurri weren't inside it. "They must have left them somewere ahead. From how fast this thing moves I'd say we've got a long way." he knew that being out of the forest was risky, but he wasn't just giving up. "Well come on, we don't have all day."

Bambi also came across nothing, but he continued walking through the forest anyways,

The doe felt bad for Geno saying that and said, "No! Please Geno you didn't have to answer that!" She then said, "He loved the 'love of his life' before but she was shot and killed by Man." The family kept looking at eachother.

The lead wolf just laughed. "Okay young buck. You are free to go. However that doe and her 'kid' are going to stay here with us." He then laughed and said, "I can smell the savory meat that doe would bring me already." He looked at his friends. He looked to half of them. "You keep the buck busy. We'll go after that doe and I want to give the final bite and see her life drain from her eyes."

Flower laughed at what Thumper said and then noticed that they were outside the forest. "Come on. We'll have to risk it." He then said to Thumper, "Do you think Gurri is okay?"

Ronno still kept looking, not giving up.

Geno didn't really know what to say, and before he even had the chance to his father showed up. "Dad?" Bambi eyed him and then looked at the wierd looking group, before remembering why he was there in the first place. "It's Man... He took Garo and your sister."

Garo beared his teeth, "No! Let her go, please..." he then got an idea, "We didn't really plan on going home anyways, but we can show you the way back there. It's a forest filled with so many animals that you'd be settled for generations!" He tried looking sly like those wolves looked, and he intended on pointing them towards the opposite way.

Thumper looked at him, "Of course I remember." he said, before continuing their walk, "Let's go." He didn't really have what to worry about, since Flower was still a skunk like he used to be.

Lana looked confused but went to Geno quickly. "Is there anything I can do to help?" The rest of the group bowed before the Great Prince. "Oh Great Prince. You bless and grace us with your visit."

The lead wolf said, "The only settling I need is for my teeth to settle into the doe's neck." Suddenly about 6 wolves came up on Garo ripping and tearing at him while 5 others including the lead wolf went up to Gurri. The lead wolf tried to sink his teeth around her neck. "Don't take it personally. I have nothing against your fawn. I just am hungry." He laughed.

Flower nodded and said to Thumper, "I think I hear something." Once he heard screams he said, "That sounds like Gurri! Come on we better hurry!" He went off as fast as he could go.

Both Geno and Bambi ignored the group's wierdness, Geno paniced, "What happened?" Bambi didn't know how exactly to explain, before remembering the truck that took Faline when he was injured, Once he was done explaining it to him Geno nodded and looked at Lana, "Well... I... it was just too much pressure, "If you could all look for a giant thing which is really noisy and smells bad?" he asked, Bambi in the meanwhile took off again. Lana's family being made out of over 20 deer now turned to be a good thing. Maybe if they all looked they would find them before it got too late.

Garo grimaced as he felt the claws of the wolves, but he couldn't just watch Gurri get killed, not if he could help it. The wolves weren't tall, so he just jumped above them and aimed at the lead wolf. He knocked his as hard as he could and pushed his neck against the ground with his antlers untill it drew a lot of blood. He somehow managed to get himself and Gurri out of the circle of wolves, "I don't think he'll make it." he yelled to them "You should eat him." meanwhile he gave Gurri a look telling to run and let him stall them.

Thumper could also hear the screaming, "Yes, that's her!" Flower might have never met Gurri before, but he did and he recognised her voice. He ran as fast as he could and tried to keep up with Flower's higher pace.

Lana nodded not sure what to look for. "Well I don't know what this thing looks like." Suddenly the truck in question came roaring through the forest, almost hitting the deer in the way. Lana looked at Geno, "Should we follow it?"

The lead wolf just laughed. "You think my pack would eat me. How foolish of you." He then smiled. "You're a cruel buck mister. I have two pups of my own. Now however that you made me mad I am really going to make sure all of you are dead." Suddenly 9 more wolves came out. The lead wolf said to them, "You," he pointed to 14 wolves, "you keep that insolent buck out of my sight." He then looked at the remaining 5. "Alright help me take down the doe." Suddenly a large group of wolves again started tearing at Garo. The lead wolf laughed. Suddenly Gurri tripped and the lead wolf came up to her ready to bite her neck. "Alright as I said don't take it personally." Suddenly a young hunter shot and scared away the wolves. "Man! Let's get out of here." He tried to get Garo out of the way as well, not knowing that was her mate. It looked like he was about to shoot her but instead tried to pick her up.

Bambi the skunk finally woke up. "My goodness we have been sleeping for a full day!" He knew his yells would wake the others up. "I mean can you believe that! We are still asleep!"

Geno jumped, startled as the truck suddenly appeared. 'It's noisier than I remember...' he looked at Lana, "I'm following it." he stated, "You don't have to risk yourself if you don't want to." he added and took off after the truck.

This time Garo couldn't avoid the wolves and he could not get to Gurri and help her. Suddenly however the wolves fled, and Garo's relief didn't last long because he saw what drove them away. It was yet another human and he was about to try and pick her up. His wounds screamed for rest, but he wasn't going to have her taken away from him. He placed himself between the Man and Gurri, but this time he didn't try to attack the human. There was something wierd about those hunters, they hadn't killed them already like most of them would have done. Garo hoped that maybe if he did no sudden moves, the human might understand and leaved them alone.

Thumper continued running, before noticing the scene ahead of them. He had no idea what the wolves were, and that the Man scared them away, so the first conclusion he came up with was, "Dogs!" he yelled, looking at Flower, "Come on!"

Long Ears woke up, but it was Bambi the skunk's mate who spoke up first. "Why are you yelling like that? I was trying to sleep you know!" Long Ears looked at her with a confused expression before realising who she was.

Lana looked at Geno. "Of course I am helping you!" She followed the truck but the truck however pulled into a small building and it seemed no deer were inside of it. "Uh I think they don't have them anymore."

The young hunter saw Garo and raised his thunderous stick however after a few seconds of staring at Garo he put his stick down and instead got some kind of bottle out and tried to throw water at them when he tripped and passed out. The wolves came back and said to Garo, "Alright buck. You two are free to go. We just want this easy meal right here. A young Man hunter will do just fine for our bellies." The lead wolf was wondering why Garo was still standing there, "Well go on. You are free to leave now."

Flower ran along as well hearing shots and growls thinking like Thumper that it was Man and his dogs. "Come on Thumper. We have to run faster." Flower picked up the peace hoping he wouldn't trip.

Bambi the skunk shyly said, "Well it is evening so we have all been sleeping the whole day. I thought you wanted to wake up." He felt real bad and was all teary-eyed. "I am sorry for waking you up."

Geno wasn't giving up, "We can't know for sure." he said, slowly approaching the building, before looking around at Lana, "Wait here." he didn't know why he just talked like he used to speak to Marena when he was worried about her, but there were more important things to think about. He slowly walked closer to the building, wondering what was that thing and what was it doing in the middle of the forest.

Garo didn't move, and was surprised when the hunter suddenly stopped aiming his stick at him. Out of pure instinct, he motioned Gurri to start walking. But before he left, his gaze fixed on the hunter again. What was he thinking about? Those creatures killed Geno's mate, and all they did was bring the forest suffering! But then again... he didn't kill them and he even seemed nice! So he couldn't just leave him after that, right? That would make him a Man lover, but he did show them mercy. Garo was simply too confused.

Thumper was having a hard time breathing, speaking and running at the same time "I'm running as fast as I can!"

Bambi the skunk's mate sighed when she saw the shy apologetic face on her mate's face. "Oh... I'm sorry..." she then looked outside, noticing that it really was evening.

The rangers noticed a deer near the building. They quickly got their rifles out and fired a warning shot to scare him away. Lana tried to yell to Geno, "Geno get back here now!" The rangers then tried to grab Geno as well. A lot of incoherent shouting was heard. Lana went out and tried to help him whenthe two were shot again but those strange guns that made you sleepy.

The lead wolf again looked at Garo, "Boy I said move!" Suddenly the young hunter fired his stick and again the wolves left. The young hunter tried to stand up but it looked like he broke his leg. He looked at Garo but didn't do nothing. He tried to back away from the buck thinking the buck might get him with his antlers. However soon the young hunter just passed out because of so much pain. Gurri looked at Garo, "What do we do? I mean we can't just leave him there can we?" She looked at Garo giving him a look that they couldn't.

Flower then saw Geno and Gurri. "I see them Thumper!"

Bambi the skunk looked at his mate. "Well it is alright." He looked at Long Ears. "Hello buddy. This is uh...my mate. He looked red faced and said, "If it is alright I am going to show her all of my friends."
