"But I'm not sure he should be getting involed in a war that dangerous, I've seen alot of those episodes." Cathy said. " And what about Alicia, I doubt her Parents would let her go either." Cathy added as she brought Obi-Wan some hot chocolate. "On earth we have a custom of adding marsh mellows to our hot chocolate, would you like some?" She offered.

Patrick was suprised the ship still seemed like it could fly. But after a systems check, everything seemed to check out.

Obi-Wan accepted the offer of marshmallows and went back to the discussion. "Regarding your son, if you allow him to join me, I promise that I will accept full responsibility for him and I will also speak to Alicia's parents," he said.

"And how do you intend to do that Master Kenobi, war is unpredictible." Cathy said. "Yes, and I doubt your mind tricks will help with Alicia's Parents, they can be stubbern. On their first date, Her father did not brandish a shot gun, but rather gave David a warning of ' If you break her heart, take advantage of her or otherwise hurt her. I will sneak into your house in the dead of night and slit your throut while you sleep.' Speech." Rick added.

"Also word of advice about patrick, don't bring up his parents, he lost them when he was a young child, very touchy subject." Cathy added. "He fell in with a radical home grown Millitant group, got training he probly should never have had. Then killed the whole camp when he heard them planing to launch a terrorist attack. Largest Justifiable homicide ruling in the country." Rick explaned.

"Patrick might come off as agressive, but he means well, who trained him in the force anyway?" Cathy asked.

Obi-Wan only smiled. "Well, if he can survive out there with the wolves and bears whenever he goes mushing, I'm sure he can handle this. However, I vow to try and keep an eye on him. As for Alicia parents, well, let's just say that I know a thing or two about dealing with stubborn individuals. Regarding Patrick, he was trained in the Force by a woman by the name of Asajj Ventress," he said.

"Bears wolves and moose don't have lightsabers, blasters or force powers." Rick retorted. "But David did help save Nome, the Tv crews are already at your ship." Cathy added as she turned on the news. "Asajj Ventress, Isn't she the crazy chalk skined woman who's always trying to kill you?" Rick asked. " I thought she was evil?" Cathy said confused.

Obi-Wan shrugged. "She was, but she disappeared and has now reappeared. I have no idea as to why she's decided to help us now. She hated the Jedi," he said. He then returned to the topic of David. "Perhaps we should let him choose," he said.

" Where is he by the way?" Rick asked as he heard his son's dogs barking, as if to announce their return. "There he is now." Cathy said.

"OK, lets fire this ship up." Said Reven, having cleared the cave as they took off out of the cave. The ship landed when they saw the republic cruiser that was surrounded by news crews.

David brought the sled team to a stop, put the dogs in their kennels and entered the house. "What's going on?" he asked as he saw Obi-Wan.

" Your Friend Obiwan Kenobi came here to talk to us about you becoming his new Padawan." Rick said. "Honey, do you want to go with him?" Cathy asked her son.

David looked at a framed photo of the actual Balto hanging on the wall before looking back. "I don't know what to do or if I should. What about everything else?" he said.
