The female dog seemed worried, "Oh dear, is he okay?"

Annabeth's companion rolled his eyes before going serious again. Dusty tried to get in through one of the windows but it appeared that the humans have locked them all. She looked at Ralph, "Can you see anything?" it was dark inside the clinic.

Kirby said, "Yeah they're making him feel better now. But I need to go check on him."

Ralph tried to peer into the window. "Nothing." He sighed and said, "I'll be rigt back. I need to find Kirby." Once he walked away Annabeth looked at the other wolf. "Grab her! If she screams rip her throat out!"

The female nodded at Kirby, "Well I hope he gets better."

Dusty continued trying to see anything when she suddenly got bashed over the head by Annabeth's companion, who looked at Annabeth, "Or I can do this and save us the gunshots." he then placed the dog across his back, "Where do we take her?"

Kirby said, "Thank you." Suddenly Ralph showed up, "Kirby come on!" Kirby said, "If you'll excuse me..."

Annabeth said, "You performed better than I expected. There is really no need to take her. We know he is inside that building she was trying to get into. The problem is getting in. We will tell her that she will help us get in or she will watch her dog friend get tortured in front of her eyes." Once it looked like Dusty started getting up Annabeth said, "Quickly hide in the shadows!" Once there she looked at the dog, "Tell us how to get in and meet your friend. If you tell us we'll kill him. If not we'll force you to torture him after we get in by ourselves." She mocked Dusty, "That dog was gazing at me the whole time so your fidelity means nothing to him!"

The female smiled and said, "It's okay." she then said, "I'll... uh... wait here tomorrow night instead."

Dusty woke up with a start. She looked at the source of the voice but could only see two pairs of eyes staring at her. "Who are you?" she seemed frightened, "There's no way inside. It's locked."

Balto meanwhile was still awake because he never went to sleep. He was still thinking over the entire thing with the wolves this morning. Wolves never came to town like that, not without a reason at least. Taking a deep breath, Balto suddenly caught onto the strange scent from the morning, and he was sure that the wolves and their pack were somewhere just outside of the village. At some point he realised that the scent wasn't coming from outside Nome, but from inside the village. Balto didn't know why the wolves, no matter how many of them, were back in town after one of them was shot and killed. However he decided to head into town and see for himself what they were up to.

Kirby said, "I'll make it up to ya..." He followed Ralph.

Annabeth said, "Who I am is of no importance other than I am a wolf and that your boyfriend is going to die this instant." She growled and said, "Then you are to lead him away from the villiage after the door is unlocked and if you refuse I'll kill you both." She laughed and continued tauntung her, "There is no need to defend him for he already is more attracted to me anyway. You are defending an unfaithful dog."

Dusty didn't know what to do. She was so afraid for Kodi's life and hers that she wasn't able to pay any attention to Annabeth's taunting. "I wont lead him straight to his death!" she soon regretted saying it out aloud. Balto meanwhile could hear talking and slowly climbed onto the roof's of one of the buildings and hid by the chimney. He could only see Dusty down there but he could smell that the wolves were around. Dusty then said, "What do you want from him? Why did you come here in the first place?"

Annabeth said, "Why we came here is of no importance to you. Your friend is a murderous dog who killed one of my pack members! But since you are so willing to defend him: Make her scream!" She looked at her partner. "As for what we want we want his death along with the death of the wolf-dog."

Annabeth's companion was about to do as he was told, but Dusty again posed a question, "What are you talking about?"

Annaebth said, "None of your concern." She looked at her companion, "Make her scream until she thinks that she can't support her friend anymore!"
