"Naw, I asked 'im, and he said he didn't wanna, so this is....uh..."

"Aham, I think I see where this is going," said Serenity, but her face turned rather reddish, nevertheless.

"But... I guess, we can't help it." She smiled.

"Nice place you have here," added she examined the cave they just got in.

"Thanks, but uh....yeah...I gotta go....uh....bye?" Alex turns and runs off into the forest.

"Very romantic," said Serenity to herself, very quietly, and laughed.

She sat on one of the chairs and looked at the cave. It was nice, indeed, and it was warm. She couldn't deny it, it was a comfortable little place for her to be in. But where did he go? What was she expecting anyway? For her to just be alone with him?

"Anyone here?" she added insecurely, after few minutes.

Sable enters the cave unsure. He sees her and smiles shyly. "I'm here...Where you expecting anyone else?" He whispers. His right leg is covered in blood and looks painful. The skin around it is swollen and red, four teeth marks are the cause, four wolf teeth marks. He sees that Serenity is looking at it so he pulls the torn leg of his trousers over it.

"It's just a scratch...Really..." He becomes dizzy and unstable and falls to the floor, unconscious.

"No really... I wasn't expecting anyone, Alex just..."

"You OK!?" Serenity changed the subject all of a sudden, getting pale the very moment she noticed her friend in blood. "What happened?"

"It's not a scratch... You look... Oh, no!" She didn't know what to do with her unconscious friend.

"Sable! SABLEEE!" she kept yelling, in despair.

After hours he wakes up. "What...Serenity...." He mumbles. He notices his leg is bound by some of the skin rug. He smiles but coughs. His body jerks forwards and he retches violently. "I'm...Sorry..." His whole body trembles and his skin turns pale as snow. His eyes flick nervously around, waiting for Alex to creep in and wound him again.

"No, it's OK..." said Serenity. "Take some sleep, you look seriously wounded..."

She was very scared for her friends life, and her face was very pale. She just prayed, just prayed for him to get better.

"What happened, by the way?" she asked of the suden. "Don't tell me, Alex did..."

"Yep....He's...He's...gotta real temper..." He sighs. His head lolls and he falls asleep.

Serenity sighed and closed her eyes for a moment. She couldn't believe Alex would do something like this. She knew these two often fought over different things, over and over, but it never went this far before. She didn't understand... why!? They were all friends, and she wanted them all to be happy and not to quarrel. She sincerely hoped they didn't fight over her, even though she deep inside knew that to be true.

She sat and started weeping loudly.
