Ashelin nearly yelled out with fright as the crash sounded around her and Natsu. Over to their right, the other seven kids were also shielding themselves from something. When the crashing ceased, Ash's attention was turned to a bubble rising up towards her. She caught it in her hands instinctively and looked down at the little device in her hand.

She saw that Natsu also had one and when she asked her what it was Ashelin merely shrugged and went back to staring at it with deep interest. She turned it around in her hands and pressed a few of the buttons, but nothing seemed to happen.

Another rumble could be heard though and Ash's eyes widened in utter horror as a tidal wave was rushing towards them. Her first thought was 'run' But she was rooted to the spot and couldn't move as the wave got closer and closer.

"Shall we move?" asked Natsu, obviously scared. Usually she could understand everything happening, being a genius, but it seemed like it was different with it. Even though she was sure moving would be a right thing to do, just getting away from this dreadful place, she couldn't... just couldn't get off. Her eyes were stuck on the rainbow in front of her, and her legs were almost glued to the ground.

And then, just then... she started moving. But that wasn't that kind of move she was expecting, nor wanting to happen. She moved up, into the big bluish thing, something like water, but it was different. She felt like something was sucking her in. What was happening?

She fell asleep. She felt like it must have been a few hours until she wake up in a whole new place. Place she's never seen before.

Her eyes opened and she saw something like orange head in front of her. "That's completely unscientific!" she yelled, after spotting that creature. "Just what are you?" she added, obviously confused.

"I'm Tsunomon," orange headed thing said, happily. "I'm your friend, oh, I'm so happy to meet you, Natsu!"

Natsu was just starting at Tsunomon with fear. Now come this thing knew her name... and, more importantly... what was this place? Is Ash somewhere in here too? She wanted to meet her more than anything now, just to see someone or something familiar in this unknown universe she's been thrown into...

Ash felt the water wash over her and she winced at the contact. Soon she felt like she was falling through space and time and felt like she was going to throw up, but then... She hit the floor with a gently thud.

She sat up, rubbing the back of her head as she took in her new surroundings. She had fallen in what seemed like a colourful forest. It was quiet and she was alone. Her first thoughts were Finally! I won't be bothered But that thought was soon washed away as something came bounding out the bushes towards her.

Instinct told her to run, but she merely sat there as the creature approached. It was a green dragon head with a single yellow horn on it's head. It had blue eyes, green skin and two yellow marks on it's forehead. It bounced up and down next to her, a large smile on it's face.

"Ash! Ash! Ash! You're finally here!" It said.

"Wha... Who the hell are you?! And how do you know my name?!" Ashelin demanded as the creature ceased it's bounding.

"I'm Zeemon! I've been waiting forever to meet you" He said almost sadly as she looked down on him with annoyance.

"You've got the wrong person" Ash said as she began to walk off, but Zeemon was following her regardless of what she said.

Natsu was examining the surroundings. It was all green, it actually seemed like there were no people around in ages, at least. They couldn't have been in Japan, considering all that, but still... how far could she have gone? She seemed to have been falling for much longer period. Plus, there was something different about those trees. She took her laptop. That's it! It must have an answer!

"Not working," she said with a sigh of disappointment. She couldn't understand, she was sure she powered it not long before she fell. Nah, she'll survive without it. She could usually rely on it, but not that she was too dependent.

Suddenly, she heard a familiar female voice. There was also the one she couldn't recognize but... "Ash!" she remembered and started running towards the sound. She couldn't explain why she was so happy to hear the girl she was never too close to, but anything familiar is nice...

She saw her and said, "Oh, Hi." Now she knew what made that unfamiliar sounds. That was that small greenish dragon. She looked at it, and back to Tsunomon. "You have one too? This thing here just won't stop following me!"

Tsunomon made a grunt, which obviously meant that he didn't like being referred to as "this thing here" but didn't say anything more. He was also confused with Natsu's weird behavior. Was he that scary?

As Ash spotted Natsu, she wasn't sure if she was happy or sad. For one thing, she knew she wasn't dreaming and it was nice to know she wasn't going crazy seeing another human being in this supposed new world. Zeemon wouldn't leave her side either, though he bounced over to Tsunomon when he saw him.

"You found your human too? They don't seem to happy to see us though..." He said to his friend.

Ash raised an eyebrow at that remark before turning to Natsu, hands on hips.

"Any idea where we are? Or where the other kids are?" She asked.

"Yeah, I found her..." replayed Tsunomon to Zeemon. He couldn't hide the disappointment of this girl he finally managed to find. Why won't she talk to him normally? Why is she acting like such a jerk!? He couldn't hide that he was pleased to see that Zeemon had the same problem. Who knows, maybe those humans are just frightened?

"They WILL be happy to have us in here, anyway," he added a little bit more cheerfully. "We are their partners, after all."

"Partners?" repeated Natsu. "But..."

She was both scared and curious. If this is really the truth, then... is this weird orange-headed thing really her new friend!?

She then turned to Ash. "Really, I have no idea. Ummm..." she approached Tsunomon again, "you seem to know this place a bit more. Have you seen any more kids, or, at least, humans in here?"

"Kids? Humans!?" repeated Tsunomon. "You mean, those things on two legs like yourselves? You are the first ones I've seen ever."

"Uh, forget it," said Natsu, and sighed.

"I work alone" Ash said almost immediately when Tsunomon and Zeemon started talking about partners.

Zeemon sighed and his ears flattened on the side of his head with disappointment and sadness. Why did he get stuck with a difficult human? And it appeared that Tsunomon had a stubborn one too. But he had to make Ash like him... whether she liked it or not, they were partners.

"No humans, but... there are other digimon" Zeemon said cheerfully.

"What the heck is a digimon?" Ash asked skeptically.

"That's... What we are!" Zeemon said proudly.

Tsunomon sighed.

This Ashelin kid seemed to be nothing less difficult than his. Why were humans like that!? Were they all like that?

But, Natsu seemed to be a bit more interesting after hearing word "Digimon".

"What... you mean... but you, guys, look so different! Anda... you want to say that there's nothing but talking heads in here?" She seemed disappointed, those Digimon she just met seemed everything but very powerful.

Just then, she spotted another creature approaching them. This one resembled cat, and was purple. And, what's even more curious, this one had legs! And didn't seem very friendly.

"Natsu!" screamed Tsunomon. "Hide, now! This is Gazimon!" said he and tried to chase it away with its bubble attack.

Ashelin turned her head as the Gazimon approached. She was shocked to see it at first, but not as shocked as she had been when Zeemon first appeared. Zeemon bounced infront of Ashelin defensively and he too attacked with his bubble blast. The Gazimon however merely blinked the feeble attack away and hit Zeemon out the way.

"Ash, run!" He yelled as he rolled away after being hit.

He looked over at Tsunomon as the Gazimon was advancing on him now.

Ash blinked as Zeemon had defended her against the beast. Why had he done that? Why? She looked over at Natsu.

"We better get out of here!"

"Yes! Let's hurry!" screamed Natsu.

"Is this thing also a Digimon?" she asked, nervously, referring to Gazimon.

"Sure, it's a Digimon," Tsunomon replied with another sigh. "Here, there's not a single living thing that isn't Digimon. Except fish. But now... RUN," he added in a scream.

Gazimon was faster than two girls could run, and especially for their two In-Training Digimon who could only jump around.

"NATSUUUUUUUU! Look out!" he yelled, and jumped again in front of Gazimon. And then... something strange has happened. Natsuko's Digivice glowed, and...

"Tsunomon digivolves toooo... ELECMON!"

"I... I've become Elecmon! You won't get away this easily from me, now!" he told Gazimon, with a small laugh.
