"Loch," he offered, to all three of them. He had not expected Jade and Devon to come into the conversation, but it was nice, and he enjoyed talking to the three of them. A soft smile flitted onto his dark lips, and he tilted his antlers, gazing curiously at Jade. Her anatomy was very different from Red deer hinds; she was smaller, maybe, with something very springy and extremely light in her frame. Devon was no different, and the speckling of fawn spots along his back made Loch's grin widen a little more. He watched as the calf played with a colorful butterfly; he was smart enough to not wander off too much, and there was a prickle of pride in Loch's chest when he saw this, though for the life of him he could not decide why. Lifting his head a little higher, in an obvious display of his arrogance, he licked his lips, muttering, "Devon, would you like to play?" Now the the huge stag was hovering over the little male fawn, and there was light glittering in his eyes, cheerfulness.
Now that Loch was ignoring his senses, he did not think much more about the odd noise had overheard. Just a rock falling, he assured himself, like Siarra said.
