Knuckles, Shadow, tails and Chaotix followed suit. Soon they were all dressed in their respected bests. Knuckles and the others were surprised they beat sonic to the throne room. Knuckles approached their father. "Father, I am concerned Sonic's ungentlemanly attitude will offend our guests." Knuckles said, concerned for Sonic's behavior.

King Levi looked at Knuckles. "What did he do this time?" he asked, wondering what he was going to do with Sonic.

" He has used uncivilized words to describe the princess, and so causally that I fear it could kill any chance of an alliance, even if the Princess chose me, her father might not even consent to allow the marriage." Knuckles explained to his father.

King Levi sighed. "Leave Sonic to me and prepare yourself to meet the princess, Knuckles. I will deal with your brother later," he said. Just then, Sonic arrived on the scene. "Did I miss anything? Has Princess Sally arrived yet?" he asked.

"I already Prepared myself father." Knuckles said, which was apparent from his appearance. " Same here Dad." Shadow said with a proud grin, as he, tails and Chaotix presented themselves.

King Levi and Queen Aleena nodded. Just then, a messenger entered. "Your majesty, Princess Sally's transport has just arrived. She will be here shortly," he said. Levi nodded. "Send her in," he ordered. A few minutes passed. Then, suddenly, the throne room doors opened, revealing a gorgeous female squirrel/chipmunk hybrid with luxurious red hair, shining blue eyes, soft brown fur and a lovely, lean, lithe figure. This was Princess Sally. She approached Sonic and Knuckles. "Hello. I am Princess Sally Alicia Acorn," she said.

" Greetings Princess Sally, I am Prince Knuckles of the Floating Island. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance M' lady." He said, bowing before her and kissing her hand as he was taught. Knuckles rose to his feet. and Shadow walked up to her and bowed. "I am Prince Shadow." He said to her.

Sally smiled at the young hedgehog. It was now Sonic's turn to introduce himself. Wanting to prove Knuckles wrong, he imitated his brother's actions, bowing and kissing Sally's hand. "Welcome to the palace, your highness. I'm Sonic. Knuckles and Shadow are my brothers," he said. Sally nodded. "I am glad to be here. Now, may I be led to my chambers to unpack?" she said.

"Allow me M'lady." Knuckles said, taking her backs and offering her his arm, like a proper escort would.

Sally smiled as Knuckles led her towards the guest wing. Sonic followed alongside, wondering if he had made an ideal impression. He then looked at Knuckles. "Well, I guess the next step is to introduce her to everyone else at dinner tonight," he said.
