[Kuzimu]

Binadamu is Kuzimu's wise mother. A rogue cub, Binadamu was raised by Rafiki's mother most of her life. Binadamu was friends to all animals so she thought nothing of humans when they came towards her. She was captured and thrown into a cage with another lion, Utu who is Kuzimu's father. Binadamu and Utu were placed on display in cages and a year into their captivity, Binadamu leanred she was pregnant. Not wanting their cub to grow up in captivity, Utu broke free promising Binadamu the world if she came with him. But his cruelty shone through and Binadamu took Kuzimu to the pridelands where Scar was ruling. Believing him to be the true king Binadamu became Zira's best friend, as she was older than Zira, treated her like one of her own cubs. Binadamu also friended Sarabi. When Zira was Exiiled Binadamu was given the option to stay in the pridelands but she declined knowing Zira needed her more. There she witnessed Zira's decent into madness and her daughter's slow slip from reality.

Her one gracious move was to take Mauko, Kuzimu's cub with Nuka, away from her daughter so the baby woudn't become a pawn. Binadamu brought the child to a lion who took in orphan cubs and then found a better mate for her daughter; the rogue lion Ni. Binadamu now lives with her daughter and ni and her grandson Ubele.
