I was inspired, thanks to Celestella, by this MS Paint tutorial http://yuliya.deviantart.com/art/Micros ... l-19775603 . I found a Kiara sketch that I had and never planned on doing anything with and decided to try pixel art out. I started in Paint but chickened out and went back to CS3. It was SO freakin fun. I shaded by using Hue/Sat Adjustment layers on top of each of my colors layers and painted with the pencil tool on low opacity building up the shading.
