Walking up to the opening of the Pride Rock cave, she was a bit upset. How dare Kibwe hurt those other cubs like that?! She needed to apologize for his behaviour at once. Heading inside, she looked to the orange cub that was laying on one side.
"Zuberi?" She questioned, looking at the horrible marks her brother had put on him. Rolling over, he yawned and looked at her.
"Yo, Dalila is it? What do ya need?" He asked her facing toward her on his stomach. Lying down in front of him she then began to cry a little bit. Seeing one of her friends like this was horrible.
"I...I'm sorry for what Kibwe did to you." She sobbed. He raised an eyebrow.
"Huh?"
"I'm sorry ok!" She cried, did he not get it? Dalila was apologizing for her brother.
"It's alright, it wasn't you. Why are ya apologizing for that beast for?" He put his paws over hers, and looked at her. Looking away from his gaze, she felt a warm feeling in her heart when he touched her.
"No but-"
"But what? Is he not lion enough to say sorry for himself? Pathetic. It's not your job to do that." Zuberi cut her off, moving her face with his paw so she was looking at him. Wiping away her tears he smiled a little.
"You know, these scratches are simply that. They'll go away. Makini said so. So don't worry about it!" He exclaimed. She smiled, and nuzzled him.
"Thank you for reassuring me, Zuberi." She said, before getting up and scampering out the cave.
