Fun fact: In the library where I live has a bunch of normal fish swimming the way normal fish swim. Then there's this fish bucking the system. I liked the fish so much I made this charter biased off of that fish.
Backstory: Not much is known about her early life only that she had a very happy childhood. When Vertical was old enough to fend for her self moved to the area ware all the lion cubs played looking to stake out a territory. She lived close to her parents and siblings, but also wanted the adventure of being in a new place. Vertical liked the area because there was nice places for him to hide and explore and lots of algie to eat. Vertical soon met Nala and became best friends with her. She kept their relationship secret because she would be made fun of if other lions knew she was friends with a fish. When Scar became the king, Vertical and all of the other fish had to move to a new water source so they could survive. Vertical always wonders if her childhood friend was ok because she knew that Scar wasn't nice or a good ruler. She eventually returned with her own mate and babies, and was able to see her friend again and learn that Nala was now Queen Nala of the pride lands.
