For Christmas my parents got me a brand new Cintiq 22HD, a piece of equipment I have wanted for so long that I never dreamed I would ever get the chance to own. And by doing so they've not only given me this amazing new toy but also gave me the opportunity to commit myself full time to my artwork and keep pushing myself to raise the bar higher and higher as I continue to draw. Knowing how much my parents support what I want to do and what my passion is means more to me than anything and I couldn't be more grateful towards them.
With that in mind I'm hoping to get really active the next year! This year was an amazing change thanks to all the fantastic people that commissioned me and gave me work, and all of you that kept me motivated. I haven't been this truly happy with my artwork since 2009, back when I was full of childhood inspiration and passion to draw every day. Even with the little time that I've had this thing I've been feeling that spark again and I'm excited to see where my artwork goes from here.

This Simba is a little old! It was the first thing I tried to draw on the Cintiq.
