His mother is a sweetheart and I praise her for that.
And those other three are meanie-heads.
[Yes, I meant to sound childish and immature on purpose.]

But in all seriousness, at least his mother loves him.
Great page though!

Poor Damian. :c *huggles*

Loving the comic so far c: nothing is better than traditionally done comics. Digital ones are all cool and all (and easy once used to it tbh), but the art community needs more traditional ones!! :P Also I love your art style and character designs. :) It's very adorable~ and the anatomy is wonderful~ ^_^

Looking forward to the following pages~! :D

No problem~ c:

Taking breaks between drawing time is advised, I usually get my wrist in pain if I draw too much with my tablet. Especially if I am doing sketch work which has most movement for the hand with quick lines and curves, and such.

Would have to not completely agree that digital is easier. I do both types of art, and each has advantages over the other. Like digital it is easier get flat colours, but colours with depth traditional stands as easier. And traditional is is very easy to get fur direction and things like that, direction is much easier, since simple colouring the image can get that.
Though lighting, definitely easier digitally, depending on the lighting. Extreme lighting is easier digital, real pain traditional.

Though I do agree that traditional comics as a whole are better. Cuz you know the artists has to draw everything, unlike digital.

Lot's of things with both types work out about the same, like clouds. Tedious both way.

Scientist=turd
He defended himself? Quick! Knock him out!

Least they could have done is used a skillet, it at least would have been a little amusing. And taken some skill. Sorry if that's offensive.

Frankly, I'd hit the scientist, coming at me with needles ehh, try me? I'll give you several needles, from my hand! Meaning irl, I hate needles, tight spaces, makes my head shake really badly, and disorientates me. Not fun when you have to work under a house.

Sorry bout the rambling on.

Rambling on means I like the story. So the more rambling I have, the more I like it. Strange yes, accept it.

>this is coming from someone who does only digital art for about few years<

For the start, yeah, it may not feel 'easy' because you'd have to experiment with a lot of brushes, their style, and such. Also the brushes play their role in most of times for shades and lights. Since I use Manga Studio 5 (aka Clip Studio) for literally... everything. And how they play a role is... flat brushes sometimes wont fit the drawing you have, so you have to... improvise? I think that's the word. Not an English speaker. And create your own. Which is all fun and frustrating when you can't get it right.

On the fur, it isn't that much hard, but I would call it tedious for sure. If doing fur with digital, you would need a separate layer, and then outline the fur chunks, lightly with a darker colour of the fur, and multiply (or any other dark layer mode) it, then it needs another layer which is the fur streaks itself. (If you wanna know that in a visual look, I can get an example doodled up~). But I do agree that with traditional it is lot faster, and easier, pencils are magic sometimes on that. So the fur I suppose depends on your "knowledge stash" (whatever that is, I made that term up) on how you think you would get the fur effect.

But yeah, everything is a tedious little fudging doughnut (best censorship ever), especially clouds, and grass (I don't like grass brushes...).

I suppose it all depends how long an artist is working with a specific media. XD

Yea, I know about the tons of brushes. I use photoshop personally, since I know where everything is. I use it a lot, just not recently cuz I don't have a stylus pen. It died. Stuck waiting on a new one, still...

Shading however, digital is faster in my opinion. You can be a little sloppy and not have to worry too much cuz it's easy to tidy it up later on. Unlike traditional, you mess there, it's a pain to fix.
And good word, knowledge stash.

Yup, grass I to me they are about the same actually. And yes, the grass brushes are worthy of nothing more than the title butt-munch.
"No one likes a butt munch."

I agree there, 11 in real-media, 5-6 in digital.
